This was my second visit to this boutique hotel, and I was pleased to find the same high standards and good value. My room was much smaller this time, but very comfortable, clean, and with a good bathroom. More than adequate for a solo traveller! Because of Covid19 restrictions, breakfast was served in the sister Hotel Domspitzen across the road, but with the same excellent choice and the option of eggs cooked to order. Scrambled, omelette ....... I would recommend the Ibis (actually in the station) for a single overnight stop between trains, but for anything longer - the Domstern every time! eliensis

A central, quiet, clean, kind, children friendly and detail-love Hotel. We had a warm welcome, they were very reactive on all my email requests...I only can recommend this Hotel.. The breakfast buffet was delicious with much choice...

A friendly, well - run small hotel. Very quiet location despite being 5 minutes walk from the main station. Excellent, first class breakfast with fresh eggs and bacon cooked to order if requested. Small rooms, but this is an older, town centre building so that’s only to be expected. The only down side, and it’s a purely personal one, is that I suffer from a back back, and - not typical for Germany - the beds are quite soft. The mattresses are fine but they have sprung bases rather than slatted, and that makes the bed too soft for me.....! I wonder if they have rooms with harder beds, or if they could provide a ‘bed board’? But if you like a softer bed, you’d love it.

Rooms are very small. Check in staff was awesome. Very nice people at the reception. Breakfast was excellent. Many choices for breakfast and the staff at the breakfast was very helpful and nice. I would not stay again because of the size of the rooms but it is ideal for backpackers.

Helpful front desk, nice rooms although the lighing was so dim, parking accross the street, and a 10 minute walk to many sites. And a very nice breakfast. But why does the cable system offer 400+ stations (which can only be accessed one station at a time with the remote) and not one station was in English that we could determine? This hotel must get some English speaking visitors.
