La puntuación es sobre todo por la amabilidad del personal del hotel. Las habitaciones son correctas, el precio es relativamente caro pero supongo que es por las ferias que ha habido en estos días. La limpieza correcta y el desayuno un poco pobre si lo comparamos con un 4estrellas en España. Pero la Recepcion es un 10, sobre todo el chico que nos recibió el primer día y nos hizo algunas recomendaciones

We loved our stay here. Big room with en suite, air-con, dining table, sofa, TV, lots of storage space. Warm welcome and super helpful staff. Lovely breakfast buffet. Very convenient location. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely three nights at the Hotel Imperial. In fact, it was our favourite hotel of the three we stayed in whilst travelling around Germany for a week. The hotel is in an ideal location and a 5-10 minute walk from Venloerstrasse-a street with lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. In fact it’s much better to get a meal here as opposed to some of the tourist traps nearer the Altstadt. You can walk from the hotel to the Cathedral in about 35 mins or otherwise the public transport is 5-10 mins walk. We had a very comfortable and quiet room on the third floor. All amenities we needed were provided. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A shout out to Hert Engelmann who was patient and complimentary with my rusty German and who gave us some excellent t restaurant tips. Would definitely return.

Comfortable and very quiet place! The rooms are really clean.This hotel is sensational. If you have the money, spend at least 1 night here, the service is impeccable and the staff are great. Everything is perfect. It's like being send back into the good old days of royalty.

Well-run, clean, quiet

Located two long blocks from the Piusstrasse U-bahn station, this is in a very quiet part of the city, a family run hotel. Very friendly desk people, who also serve as the bartenders. The hotel itself is small, but it is very uncommercial, certainly not like the large chain hotels. Our room was called "double comfort". It was effectively two twin beds with firm mattresses and individual duvets on each. Our bathroom should an efficient use of space. A very modern shower, no bathtub. Breakfast at the hotel was €9.5, not a feast by any means, but satisfactory. Windows open in in, but their movement is limited. We never felt anything but secure, even with the open window on 3rd floor. Tiny elevator, two people with one suitcase each with almost fill it. We would certainly come back again if we come to Cologne.
