Terrible place and management
I've never been treated so poorly by a hotel. These guys were super unprofessional and basically stole my money from me. Claiming we were throwing a party when all the people with us were doing was helping carry our stuff up and we were going to there house for a few hours but know they came up and threw me and my wife and my 4 year old daughter out at 10 at night after a 4 hour drive. The male manager was a very smug and lower tripping dude Highly do.not recommended this place. Dirty and outdated rooms.
Pictures must be old
I had to get a quick room because my dad had a follow up appt after a surgery at a nearby hosp so i checked the pictures and everything looked well so i booked it and i wish i hadnt. The lobby is decent and that’s where the good things end.... the hotel is run down, looks like it may have been a nice place some time ago. It’s “ok” for a quick sleep but nothing else....I was afraid to take my shoes off or get in the bed, even the remote was disgustingly dirty and with covid you would think everything would have been wiped down... decided to even hold off on a shower till i got home because the shower looked dirty. It’s a shame because the front desk staff is so nice but i would never stay here again, even for a few hours
Worst Hotel Experience Ever
I’m a Covid first responder. Booked a room here while on assignment. Didn’t get past the front desk before the male attendant began giving me a difficult time, threatening to cancel my pre-paid reservation, and literally laughing at my distress about losing said reservation. When I say laughing, it was a mocking quality that took glee from another person’s plight. The issue was that I was traveling with my husband’s credit card and, because my name didn’t match the name on the card, he literally went out of his way to make my life more difficult. This was after the end of a 13 hour shift hours from home and before yet another shift. My husband even called his credit card and they said that it was not a big deal, he’d just have to fill out an authorization form and they’d authorize the $50 hold that was the barrier. The front desk attendant threatened to refuse check in but not refund me my money ($400 USD). And then he’d laugh at me and walk away. I was ugly crying at this point because I couldn’t understand what all was happening when I asked to escalate the issue. This guy throws his business card onto the counter and says with a nefarious smirk, “I am the manager. And don’t worry, I’ll be including my side in the notes on your account.” I wish there was a video because it was such an abusive situation that I wouldn’t believe it unless I saw it. I will never stay at a Quality Inn again. Don’t waste your time.
It was a good stay
I was worried after reading reviews, but everything went well. I stayed in the main building on the second floor. The staff on duty when I arrived was pleasant and each time I saw her in the lobby. My room was large with a king bed. The room was clean and the bed/pillows were just fine. I had plenty of towels, the tv worked fine, and fridge was good. Also, the bathroom was clean and the Wi-Fi worked fine. Yeah, the outside of the building is dated and the lobby had some kind of smell I can’t describe, but overall I can say I’d have no problem going back as long as I can stay I’m the main building. Overall, it was good for a budget hotel.
ROACHES & BED STAINS
Roaches & Blood Stained bed!!!!! The stay started out ok, the outside is run down and looks dumpy so I checked out the room before staying there. The room looked outdated but clean. We got the Queen Jacuzzi room. There was a full range stove, in the kitchen. Nice sized living room and bedroom and hot tub area separate off to the side of the bedroom. There’s a door that leads to the bathroom from the hot tub and also from the kitchen. However, before going to bed at 4am there was a roach crawling in the bathroom. We killed it but then when pulling back the sheets there was a blood stain on the bed. We packed up and left!! This is a motel, not the typical Choice Hotels hotel style chain that we usually stay at. I called the front desk and spoke to the woman and it was the same lady that checked me in so I’m pretty sure it’s a Mom & Pop motel. I explained that we left in middle of night and she asked what room and said ok. Never apologized, never offered a refund or how she can make it better. I told her I’d be writing a bad review and she hurried me off the phone saying “ok ok ok”. The ONLY reason we booked this room was for the jacuzzi in the room when all local hotels were sold out of them. Don’t do it!! Stay somewhere else and use the public hot tub. UPDATE: the same lady called me back to say “I checked room, there’s no bugs and no stain on bed. Thank you” 👎🏻 I just read over some of the bad reviews and others also mentioned “bugs”. Sorry lady, call an exterminator. (I should have taken photos!)
