More about the hotel
Generous Review
I am platinum with Marriott...so I decided to use points for two nights at this hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Great location, clean, friendly employees and nice hot tub. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was excellent....great service and good food. I felt hotel room was overpriced...60K points a night...the room is nothing special...they gave me a view looking north...not the best view...and the place wasn't even full....how about treating platinum a little better? The light next to my bed did not work, and it was not the bulb...do they ever check the lights? The light switch in the bathroom barely worked....had to press hard on the switch to turn it on...and here is the topper...there are no plates of silverware in the room...so I requested 2 plates, one spoon, one knife and extra coffee at 0800....Housekeeping made their delivery at noon. After my third call to the front desk before the housekeeping delivery, the front desk guy made his own delivery at 0930.... I never plan to stay here again. I was in Room 502....they said it was an upgrade...and it came with just one roll of toilet paper....would I of have had to wait another four hours for housekeeping to deliver me a second roll of toilet paper if I had the need....fortunately, I didn't have the need.
Great Service, Loved the Ski/In Ski/Out, Not Luxury.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for New Years week to ring in 2021. Christy’s rental was fabulous and Dakota at the front desk absolutely 5 star. Also loved the complimentary champagne & cookies at 4P. However, for $1000 a night during peak season .... this hotel by NO means warranted the price. Our room (upgraded) had odd windows onto the communal hallway (all rooms in the hotel have this). While the view was delightful, the furnishings in no way were luxury or high quality (plastic sofas in the living room anyone?) I’d would go back to enjoy the skiing, the down to earth atmosphere at the on-site restaurant or to savor the easy access to the mountain and the village-which was magical & delightfully private.
Good location
Pro: one of the best hotel location-wise you can find skiing Beaver Creek. staff were friendly and helpful. Con: I cannot ignore some of their staff don't wear mask properly. it's not cool when valet is the only option and there was one guy who dosen't cover noose would drive your car to/from garage. I had to use my vehicle during my multi-day stay for quite a few times. It's not totally comfortable when getting it from this guy twice (-1.5 star because of this). Another -0.5 star, the restaurant was open, but as a titanium member, the only option was get couple hundred points, because "there was no continental breakfast available". I'd be totally cool with it if the on-site restaurant was closed. But when it's opened, this is BS. There are many hotels offer credits barely cover a good item, but I'd love to go there and pay out pocket the difference. I choose your hotel not because you're better or cheaper than the Park Hyatt next door -> because I always stay with Marriott. so don't save $20 a day from your loyal customer when they are paying almost $1000 a day
Wonderful Accommodations, Helpful and Generous Staff
We had such a wonderful stay - the staff were so accommodating, patient, generous and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the pool an hot tub! Quick walk to the village. It was extremely quiet when we were there, which was perfect for what we needed. Highly recommend!
Great location
We only stayed at the hotel for two nights but really enjoyed the location and the proximity to the shops and restaurants. We spent time hiking up the mountain right from the hotel, never needed a car. The staff was friendly and accommodating to all our requests. The artwork and sculptures inside were interesting too. Our room/ suite was perfect for two people.
