Bien pero caro
Hotel a las afueras, al lado de la autopista. No se oye mucho ruido desde la habitacion. Tiene parking del hotel al descubierto. El wifi va bien. La habitacion grande con cama grande, tambien tiene minicocina con pequeño frigorifico. Las almohadas blandas como es habitual. El desayuno tipico de aqui, flojo. Tienen cinnamon rolls ricos eso si. Esta bien pero me parece caro para 1-2 personas.
Open the pool area already!
This clean, quiet, modern HIE is conveniently close to both US 63 and the interstate. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we got a good night's sleep. We would have loved to use the hot tub before retiring, but all of the hotel's recreational facilities were closed. This appears to be a matter of hotel policy, and at this point we have to wonder what exactly is driving it. This is the only hotel at which we encountered such a policy during an 11 day trip with stays in 6 different states.
New Year Stopover
Four of us stayed for one night on our way back home to Illinois. Had to take a break because of winter weather. Room was clean. Staff persons were helpful. Room had 2 big screen tvs. Enjoyed watching sports. At one time, the one side of the room had a power outage. We used the microwave on that side and must have short circuited the "fuse." The desk person knew what we were talking about when we checked with them. It was promptly fixed. I just hope this electrical problems are fixed by now.
Restful for one night
Sometimes I wonder about reviews-is it really the establishment or someone does not mention their disappointment to staff? Just sayin'. We only stayed one night on our way to Florida from Colorado and I found the hotel nice for our stay. We will only stay at Holiday Inn and one other chain hotel when we travel. No surprises. Staff was nice, room was clean and beds were good.
Great place to stay for 2 nights
My experience at this Holiday Inn Express was a good one for my two night stay. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was well stocked and tasty. When I first got into my room it was freezing cold but after setting the thermostat it was much better. The hotel is in a good location and very convenient to have a gas station and a few food establishments close by. I'd recommend staying here.
