Great Hotel, Very Clean & Great Staff

I highly recommend this hotel if your in this area. Especially if you are with family and children. My family and I stayed for 3 weeks due to us waiting on our house to be ready. We are a Military family that moved here a short time ago to the area & had no idea where to stay. Rooms were clean, smelled fresh daily, the compound it kept clean at all times, breakfast was served every day in downstairs breakfast area. Staff were so lovely and helpful. There is laundry room on our floor, everything was at our dispense. Hope this helps!

During our stay at the residence Inn we had an issue with our room. At 3:30 in the morning our air conditioning unit went out. Here in South Carolina in June it’s very hot and so my family woke up in sweat. We called the front desk and Kathleen who was attending the desk that night immediately came to our rescue. She came upstairs and attempted to fix the unit herself. When she was unable to do that she relocated us to a new room temporarily for the rest of the evening so we would be insured to have a good night of sleep. The next day, she upgraded us to a better room and made sure our family was well cared for. Kudos to Kathleen and Big thanks to residence Inn for always having excellent customer service.

Hotel was being updated, some how they pulled it off. Wasn't an issue at all for us. Stephanie the young lady who manages the hotel during 2nd shift is an absolute Gem. Very friendly, professional and gets things done. Made our stay much more comfortable & enjoyable. Kudos to the housekeeping staff as well as the Kitchen servers. Great job.

I don't write many negative reviews, but sometimes it needs to be done. I won't stay here again and if others would like a better standard, they might chose a different option. The desk person staffed on Thursday night was courteous and tried to be helpful. We only had three hangers. We had 3 dress shirts, a skirt, 3 dresses, a blouse, and 3 jackets. We asked for more hangers. She couldn't find any, and despite putting in a housekeeping request, we never got any. We made a special trip out to buy hangers the next day. They did not have suitcase foldable racks, so we had to use the coffee table. The room was passablely clean (3 out of 5). The sofa is stained as was the hide a bed mattress. They did not have liquid dish soap (I asked at front desk). The did have a coffee maker and coffee, but did not provide coffee filters. The kitchen items were very minimal! We had 2 spoons. We had to use shampoo as dish soap. The only knife was 10 inches long, try cutting up cauliflower or an apple.
The bed was very jiggly. You could not wiggle a toe without your spouse feeling it. I did not sleep for 3 days, or it might have been the super horrible dollar store pillows. The sink space is open to the bed. Horrible if one person is trying to sleep and the other needs to get up and get ready. You will definitely hear every footstep of the person upstairs.
Why did most hotel chains take away the disinfecting wipes from the workout room As a COVID precaution? Now you sweat everywhere and have to leave it for the next person!!!! It is utterly gross! One of the treadmills had a non-functional TV monitor. The equipment is not spaced for COVID safety. Otherwise, the workout space is nice with weights, 3 treadmills, 1 elliptical, and 1 recumbent bike.
The front desk person on Friday morning and Sunday morning was not friendly or even just basically polite. Both of key cards were not working after using the workout room, no basic nicety about it being unfortunate. No "your welcomes" after we said thank you, no "you too" after I wished her a nice day after checking out.
They have construction equipment in the parking lot. We had to park in the Cracker Barrel lot on Friday and Saturday night.
Will stay there again with our fur baby

I am giving it a 5 for the class it is in. Staff was very welcoming during covid era. We picked this hotel just as a sleep over. We had a family emergency and had to travel With our Shepherd and they are a pet friendly hotel. I think that the fee could have been more reasonable for Marriott members like $50 vs $95 but all in all it was quite enjoyable. The towels were on the plush side and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The Room was immaculate. There was a mini kitchen in the room and everything was clean. The lobby area is well appointed. Staff was extremely helpful recommending restaurant, which was excellent. Got up earlier than their breakfast hours started but I did hear another couple saying it was quite good.
