Pleasant stay
The motel was a little difficult to locate as it is tucked behind an auto sales lot. That said that means it was very quiet. The room was clean and well maintained. Not aware of any eating establishments nearby..
Needs a Renovation Pretty Badly
We're out about 40-45 nights a year, so well travelled and we know what is being offered by hotels. This ain't it! Lots of problems here! Dings and dents all over the place, bathroom fan didn't work (kind of a big deal in a smaller room) only two half pillows per side on a king size bed and they were soft too. Front desk staff was lackadaisical. They also charge a $40 room deposit for damaged on check in and promise to refund it in 7-10 business days. We shall see. The only salvation here is that the price was cheap. OK place if you're passing thru and just trying to save some money. But you get what you pay for and it isn't much on both counts.
It has roaches
When I first walked in the room I saw a roach on wall ,I didn’t bring it to there attention because I needed sleep for just 3 hours so I can get to Tennessee, I got bite by something on my foot and my head had a bump on it and it wasn’t there until after I stay at the hotel. This place needs to be shut down until they get exterminators out there to spray it!!!
Slept Well....
The layout for the lobby, breakfast area and room were standard for Choice Hotels Sleep Inn with modern decor. We were told upon arrival that we would have a full hot breakfast to be eaten in our rooms, but that never happened. Everything was in wrappers....the only available food was oatmeal, danishes, muffins and a single lone bagel. I was told that the health department had come in the morning and told them to shut down the hot foods. Ok...I could accept that as we were in the middle of the CORVID-19 pandemic. Self-serve juices and coffee were available. When asked about bagels, they said that the lone bagel was it. So we filled a small carton with what we could for the 3 of us to bring up to our rooms...the single bagel and pastries as that what was available. My grandson was leaving with our food when he was called back and questioned by an employee that he had too much food. I intervened and told her that there was plenty of food left.. even though it was mainly wrapped danish and muffins and I expected more from a Choice Hotel brand. There was good value for our room, but the confrontation with this lone employee forced me to give this low rating. Never had an incident before at any of the dozen plus Choice Hotels that we have stayed with....
