You are probably looking at this as a Marriott member. It's the nicest of your options in this area, but still dated, slightly understaffed, and nothing more than a place to sleep. Location: Right in the hotel loop with all the rest. Platinum Recognition: Not much....and they incorrectly told me the breakfast was $10 per room instead of $10/pp. This was eventually corrected though. Cleanliness: Its old, but clean. Service: Major thanks to Hare at the breakfast spot who was working extremely hard despite being understaffed. I also witnessed her deal with an extremely difficult guest with complete respect and kindness. Rooms: Dated, but fine. Breakfast: $10/pp at the breakfast starbux-esque spot is enough for a good hot meal (of basically a microwaved SBux sandwhich). Not remarkable, but got the job done and you had options. Final Notes: This is the best option for Marriott members in this hotel area. If you are staying in this area, choose here, but there are nice hotels in other parts of Columbus.

This was a nice hotel. Rooms were clean. Staff was nice. Just miss the breakfast. I know covid has a lot to do with it. But I do think without a breakfast they should take a few dollars off the bill. That would be nice. I’m not sure if it was closed because their were a lot of softball teams staying there or not.
Not the Courtyard to pick in the area of Columbus -from Aug 5-8th 2021

Date of stay rom Aug 5-8th 2021 -Always enjoy the Marriott Courtyards whenever I travel on business but this one was different - Staffing uneven and could not tell if people were staff because they had no name tags/logo shirts or anything saying they were. Also, unkempt grounds and some unsavory clientele that seemed to walk over from the next door Motel 6.I would not stay here again but I would choose a different Courtyard property as they usually are better.
Not the Marriott experience I’m used to

Great location, clean and attractive, comfortable. I’ve stayed here many times and this is the best this place has looked. Easy, complimentary parking. Comfortable common areas including a spacious, attractive outdoor area with pool (great for family/friends visits). Close to many good restaurants (walking easy) However, it is no longer an upper tier hotel. No daily room cleaning service, no bar of bath soap (the liquids on the wall are not clean and difficult to use), no coffee service (service was slow at food court due to one person performing many duties) with the smallest $3.15 croissant I’ve ever seen), no newspaper. Difficult to justify when the Hyatt Place across the street had the above deficiencies covered at the same price. Marriott is changing recently, and not for the better. Sorry.
Dated Rooms & not your typical Marriott experience

The rooms are very dated and in need of an overhaul. The roof in our 1st floor room shows signs of water damage. Carpets are old and tattered, and the bed was not the typical plush Marriott mattress. You could feel (and hear) the springs. Cleanliness was also not to the normal standard, especially during Covid. Skip this one.
