Unique stay and warm welcome
Wonderful welcome, warm family-run B&B, great home-made breakfast, in a nicely renovated house in a countryside atmosphere. Also, listen to the hosts recommendations for restaurants and visits, you will be delighted! Thank you for this unique experience.
Very special, very unique, amazing
One of the best B&B I've stayed at, the Owners Gilda and Luca couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome and looked after, Gilda baked a fresh cake every day and got us fresh croissants every day from the local bakery. Always available to help planning our day in Como and Surroundings and suggesting somewhere nice to eat. The reading room is a masterpiece, surrounded by painted walls and ceilings from the 15.th century, and tasteful furniture. The suite I stayed in was spacious, clean and functional, recently renovated, with its old wooden covered ceiling, made me feel like I was back in the medioeval days. Would recommend to anyone, however, best if you have a car, given the distance to Como City. You will feel immersed in the peaceful surroundings of the Countryside, if trevelling with children, they will love to visit the small farm nearby and help feeding the animals.
Location, view, decoration, ambience and service
A beautiful house from the 16th century located in the Lombardy country site, conserving some of the original decoration (Don´t miss the living room) nicely combined with mother details. Nice gardens, great view from the rooms of the house, the grounds and the beautiful Lombardy hills. The rooms are very spacious, elegant and comfortable. There are three rooms in the house one with its own bath room and the other 2 sharing a bathroom, comfortable renovated bathrooms. You get to enjoy wine from their own vineyard. Calm and relaxing; great to walk around on your own, or sitting to enjoy the view and the building itself. The nice breakfast offered to you by the owners is really nice. The owners, a very warm couple really caring that you live the experience you were looking for. I can only write good things about Villa Natta.
Unimaginably beautiful - best B&B in northern Italy
Simply the best B&B we have ever been at. At a regular hotell these suites would cost 5 times as much. Built in the 1500-s the mansion used to be the old summer palace of the Como based Natta family, this B&B is simply world class. On a hill with a breathtaking view, huge newly renovated rooms with 4 meter ceilings, ancient fireplaces, bubble baths everything about this place is perfect. The host couple are very warm and friendly. We arrived late in the evening and they directed us to a local restaurant "Rosso Di Sera" where we had a marvelous dinner before checking in at Villa Natta. We found a complementary bottle of wine from their own wineyard in the room when we arrived and were welcomed by the hosts almost as old friends. Breakfast was great with local produce. Staying at this place is more like staying at a palace by lake Como than staying at a B&B, apart from the price. A real gem in northern Italy. Highly recommended!
