No complaints
No complaints about the hotel itself. It was clean and comfortable and up to date. Service was good. And I slept well. The breakfast was below average. The cost of the hotel was a bit pricey, as I stayed at another place a week earlier for half the price. If all you need is a place to crash for the night, I wouldn't pay the extra. But again, it was a good establishment.
Great Holiday Inn
This hotel is very clean and comfortable. The decor is modern and rooms are spacious. Indoor pool is nice. Staff are the best. Melissa at the front desk was very helpful in getting our two rooms booked. We had issues with a third party and she helped us tremendously. Very friendly and understanding.
Great
Great place to stay. Everyth in ng was clean and neat. Free washer and dryer use was awesome and also very close to great places to eat. Staff was very helpful and had great customer service. We will definitely stay with Holiday Inn in the future
Door that doesn't latch and beer on the housekeeping cart.
My assistant and I were staying in the executive suite. When we went to leave for a bit we found that the door would not latch. We had a lot of computer and camera equipment with us specifically in the room (can’t be left in the hot car). So this had to be packed up and carried back out to the car with us. I mentioned the issue to the front desk and the representative informed me that she would contact maintenance but did not have a comparable room. She offered a standard room however, I booked a executive suite because that’s what I needed. She offered to have maintenance come and look at the door while we were gone. She later called and said that maintenance couldn’t come in. I don’t know if this is because they just didn’t want to or they really couldn’t but I would’ve thought that in establishment such as Holiday Inn would have 24 hour maintenance. Nonetheless she informed me that she went up and took a look at the door and found that if you pick up on the door it will latch. This was acceptable I suppose since the door would actually latch. So we were stuck with the trailer park door for the night. The next morning we decided We would stay at the comfort suites. As we were leaving we noticed a nice cold Miller light on the Housekeeping cart. Also anytime you need the front desk for the most part you have to call them and wait for them to finish what they’re doing to come help you. I can’t swear that the housekeeper was drinking but if I found a beer in the room I would pour it out and trash the can. Moving forward we will be staying at the comfort suites. They had a comparable room for half the price, it was just as nice, they had a better breakfast, the pool was open, they allowed a lighter to late check out They had better parking and the staff was just as friendly if not more so. Since this stay I posted this review on the Holiday in page and of course they emailed me saying they denied it and it wouldn't be posted. Siting that the door not latching could have legal ramifications. Apparently they don't want anyone to know that. Also I have since noticed that I didn't get the double points I should have gotten as part of a promo I signed up for. I will be contacting them later to inquire about this. Also unlike the other local hotels the pool here was closed. (Not sure if I touched on that or not.) Also no one that works there was wearing a mask and there are no vending machines, only the hotel store.
Excellent place to stay
What do you want in a hotel? Clean room. Nice bedding. Comfy pillows. Bathroom to move around in. Soft towels. This place has that. It also has a wonderful hot breakfast! Plus tons of smuckers jellies, philly cream cheese, all the good extras! PLUS-They gave a military rate, so two adults stayed with an awesome breakfast for under $95! (Tax not included)
