Comfy Respite for the Travel-weary

After the proverbial flight from Hell and being diverted to Tulsa (truly the most inept employees on the planet), American Airlines provided a hotel voucher for the night. Jennifer B at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful and still had a smile on her face the next morning. The room was very nice, bed comfy, and the place was spotless. 10 minutes from DFW.
Misleading and disappointing

We are currently “enjoying” the first night of what is supposed to be a six night stay. We called before leaving home to verify the amenities in this hotel since this would be our first stay here. We asked specifically if there was a decent closet to support a stay of our length for two people. Why is it a thing now that hotels think a few pegs on walls suffice as storage? The good news is there is a closet, and if you want to hang four or five shirts, you’re in luck. We actually prefer to wear clean clothes every day, though, so most of our clothes remain in the suitcase or on some of those godawful pegs.
Lest you think this is because we got one of the smaller rooms, we have the “executive king suite”. You have a separate sofa and TV just as all kings who live large.
Oh, and plugs for your devices bedside? No king deserves that. You will find outlets in all inconvenient places throughout the room however.
Finally, for a “newer” property, you’d think it could be cleaner without the requisite long dark hair on the floor and the dents and dings on the walls.
Do not believe a single one of the positive reviews of this place with the exception of the friendliness of the person at the front desk, Jasmine.
The only positive thing to say is that we will likely check out of here as soon as we can find an alternative.

Everyone here was great and went above & beyond to make sure we were comfortable.
Excellent COVID protocol - they were constantly cleaning the hotel, all employees wore masks, and they respected our wish for no maid service during our stay.
Rooms are very nice - clean and comfortable. We got a great night's sleep every night during our 6 night stay.
They've got their act together here - check them out.
The place to stay in Grapevine

The Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Coppell, TX is a great place to stay. The staff at the front desk that greeted us were extremely nice and friendly. They went out of their way to be sure we would enjoy our stay. Since they were unable to have the continental breakfast due to covid. They brought Blueberry Muffins, Oatmeal, and Water for us to have each day. They upgraded us to an executive king room which was a great room, clean and comfortable. This is the place to stay in Grapevine and will be our place in the future.
New, modern, clean, excellent staff

My husband and I stayed at this hotel, he was on a business trip and I was just along for fun. This hotel is new, only open this February. It is clean, modern and the staff is great. I am terrible with names but I think her name was Alyssa ( sp). The fitness room is very nice, more equipment than I usually find, including weights, balls and foam rollers, etc. Breakfast was fresh with a nice selection too. We would stay here again if traveling to this area.
