Bus tour hotel - but we were NOT on a bus tour

This hotel claims to be a 4 star. It may be a 4 star bus tour hotel but not a real 4 star. When the buses arrive (two out of our three days) the place is a zoo. The lobby is too small for 66 people all arriving at the same time. When we booked we had the choice of breakfast or half board (breakfast and dinner), we selected the half board. First lets talk about breakfast, turns out everybody gets breakfast and the breakfast room is too small to accommodate the crowd. The hotel crams as many tables into the space as possible, then there is no room to walk from your table to the buffet. The food and the service were acceptable, the over crowding conditions were not. Now on to the half board dinner. The hotel has a nice little dinning room at the front of the hotel (empty all three nights we were there) and a very nice indoor courtyard set up for dinner (empty all three nights we were there for meals had one couple having drinks one night). So the half board dinners are served in the over crowded breakfast room. On our first night we asked if we could have our meal at one of the tables already set for dinner in the courtyard and was told no and that those tables were for people ordering off the menu. So we ate dinner with the bus tour people in the breakfast room while the front dinning room and the courtyard sat empty. Bad management, bad planning, bad customer service...just drop the whole half board idea. We have had a half board stay only one other time and that was at a mountaintop resort in Switzerland, this was not even close to that experience. The hotel is just trying to add additional people to their tour bus menu.

Good location, no soundproofing

Great location; we had a room overlooking the mesquita, and it’s easy to walk everywhere. However, the room was a bit basic for the price and there was no soundproofing to the corridor - where other guests tended to congregate and chat. We checked out on a Saturday when there was at least one wedding reception being held and were glad not to be staying that night. Temperature in the room was heating only as it was still counted as winter so we did need to have the window open to cool down the room (but was too noisy to sleep with it open).

Amazing location at fab price

Excellent location, literally a few feet from the Mezquita / Cathedral. We had an amazing deal, just €58 for a lovely double room and stunningly good breakfast ,( booked direct with the Hotel ). Everywhere immaculately clean , the Hotel has strict Covid restrictions in place , especially in the dining / breakfast room . Impressive ! View was ok , we were offered a room opposite the Mezquita but decided not to risk the noise of traffic ,( we sleep with the window open ), don’t actually think many cars go past . Did hear a bit of noise from other guests ,( Spanish coming in late and chatting loudly, as they do :) . Would highly recommend.

Avoid this hotel. Terrible service. Tried to make a modification to the reservation in advance to no avail. This hotel may as well not have a phone number because they never answered even though I called multiple times in several different days before my arrival. Explained the situation in person on check in and was not accommodated. I was charged for a room I was not permitted to receive. Front desk lady was unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. Property and rooms are nothing special especially in light of the other properties available nearby. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

My partner and I booked with friends for 2 nights. Public parking close by with a discount but hotel does have parking next door. Rooms on the smaller size but great facilities. Early check in which was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location.
