Disappointed
I recently stayed at this hotel after having stayed at several Comfort Inns. My stay there was a disappointment. Three of the four mornings the shower was lukewarm and one of the days there was no hot water at all. I found the staff to not be particularly friendly nor helpful. In spite of this the hotel was clean and comfortable, particularly the bed. I am not sure that the Covid excuse is going to justify zero customer service and issues with hot water. I do not recommend this hotel at this time.
⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended Hotel. ✅
I have stayed at this hotel for a few times. I have been very much satisfied with service, cleanliness and overall experience. I recommend this hotel to everyone. You won’t be disappointed. I enjoyed my stay.
Good hotel for a decent price!
We had to stay at the comfort inn for a few days due to a burst pipe at our home. While the lack of breakfast because of coronavirus was a disappointment, the quiet of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff helped make up for it. We were lucky the hotel was so nearby and affordable when we needed it, and will probably recommend family stay there in the future.
Pot and cigarette smoke and walking in on a guest room
I just checked out of the Comfort Inn in Corinth, Texas and I need to share my experience with you so no one else has to go through what we did. The first night the bed was horribly uncomfortable. When we arrived back the second night our room had a very strong marijuana smell. The employee gave us some odor remover spray and an ozone generator to eliminate the smell; however, he didn't know that no one should be in the room while it's being treated with an ozone generator since it causes lung damage. This is extremely dangerous and thankfully we knew better than to use it. There were no other rooms available with two queen beds so he put us in two separate rooms each with a king bed. The first room was fine, but when I opened up the door to the second room my nose was immediately filled with the smell of greasy food. The bed was unmade so I just figured housekeeping forgot to clean the room. As I was walking in I was shocked when I realized there was someone sleeping in the bed. I tried to quietly close the door, but the heavy door needed more muscle. I pulled it hard and I hope the noise didn't wake the sleeping person; or if they did wake up hopefully they thought it was someone across the hall slamming their door and didn't realize it was someone in their room. Chris, at the front desk, said that the computer showed that room as empty. He was very apologetic and assigned me an unoccupied and smoke-free room for the night where I sleep good. The next morning, Mini, the manager wanted us to change back to a two queen room which was fine but nothing was available. She wanted us to pack up and put all our clothing in storage until we got back later that evening. We were needing to leave and felt pressured to go back to pack our room. After a bit of persuasion, she decided to let us leave our belongings in one room and then check into the other room when we returned that evening. When we arrived that evening and moved to the new room it was filled with the smell of cigarette smoke. Once again I had to go down to the front desk to ask for a different room. (You would think by now they would check a room before assigning it to us.) So once again we were assigned to a new room. Most of us slept good that night, except for my wife who was on a mattress that sunk in the middle so her and my daughter would meet in the middle as they were trying to sleep. By this time we didn't want to risk changing rooms. On our last night, about an hour after I fell asleep, the smell of cigarette smoke began to fill our room. My wife was tempted to wake me up to have me go down to the front desk to ask for a new room but she toughed it out and eventually was able to fall asleep.
Could Be Better
Hotel in general wasn't bad. It appeared clean, rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and there were several restaurants within walking distance. Since this was during the Covid scare, there were only 3 types of cereal for breakfast, no fruit, no individual yogurt cups, or wrapped pastries. This was supposed to be for safety reasons but yet everyone was using the same milk container in the small cooler. Coffee cups and lids were sticking together and people were touching more than one. I think they could have done better on the breakfast selections. There was also no cleaning service while you were there, you could get new towels but had to request them , same for trash bags. We ask one employee where we threw our trash away, he told us "just sit it in the hall someone will get it", we did that and it sit there till the next day, other people were actually putting their trash by ours. Pool area was fine. We were also charged $7.50 for a safe which we DID NOT ask for, or use. Hotel sits near the interstate and at times is hard to get out onto the road, traffic can be heavy at times.
