Clean & Welcoming
We stayed 3 nights to walk up the the Restonica Valley & other gorges. It’s a great location. The room was perfectly fine, but the bed was not comfortable for us unfortunately. Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice of produce. Our cooked choices were hot enough for us. However, I’m afraid dinner was not great. It depends what you order of course, but we were very disappointed with our food.
Nice hotel but the food is disappointing.
Here with a group of 14 for 3 days. The rooms are nice as are the facilities, the Restaurant with which we had a food plan was very dissapointing. Breakfast was ok though bacon and eggs are served stone cold but two of the three dinners hag fish as the main course and both meals were inedible. Not just for my self but for everyone in the group. Big disappointment
Best burger ever
We landed in heaven. Stopped by mistake. Ended up eating the best Burger Rossini in the world. You sit by a wonderful river The Restonica. The sound of the water flowing down. Great atmosphere. Wonderful waiters. Bref. A place to visit
Super hotel and restaurant - lovely location !
We called in here for lunch, the weather was sweltering and we were all togged up in motorcycle gear, so sitting in the shade next to a cool and babbling mountain stream was a great way to enjoy lunch, which was very nice and moderately priced - although extremely busy, we received a warm welcome and good service - the hotel accommodation looked very nice indeed and we intend to stay at 'Le Refuge' next time we visit Corsica - recommended !
Family Hotel
This is a family hotel; people are friendly. The room has airco and is rather big and has a refrigerator to. Very pleasant is the small balcony with two chairs. So you can sit outside even if it is raining (we had a few hours). The setting of the restaurant is very unique: nearby the river. Hotel guests can sit nearby the river to read a book or so. Very attractive. The food in the restaurant was good but not very fine. It looks well, but tastes could be better. We did not have breakfast because we wanted to start early in the morning for a few walks.
