Bathroom floor had mold on it near the toilet. There was 3-way plug attached to a lamp. Looked very old. I had only plugged in my USB, not attached to my phone yet, this plug started sparking. I tried to take this off but it wasn't budging. Microwave didn't work. That really sucked. When I get to the hotels, all I want to do is rest. Not walk around to use the microwave in the kitchen.
Awful place
Do not make the mistake of staying here. It is run down and smells and just feels dirty. The pet friendly ammenity is anything but. $25 a night fee plus a $25 deposit which was not quoted up front when I asked about the price of a room with a dog. I hate being ripped off and here you get ripped off on price when they quote you a price of $61. And you pay $93. Ripped off again by even paying anything to stay at a place so disgusting. I expected more from Quality Inn. Make no mistake that there was nothing quality about this place. This particular one has ruined the brand for me and I will not stay at another quality inn ever. Maybe not another Choice hotel of any kind.
This is not the Qualiity Inn I used for so many years professionally...
Nasty, smells, dirty...I had to wait 15 minutes in the lobby calling for a person to check me in. Don't get me wrong I know a low rating motel, but this one was below that. And yes...I wanted a budget motel in transit to Sioux Falls to shower and sleep but I was appalled at this one. Maybe Quality Inn/Choice has lost it's edge with this one. I did have hot water and eventually got the shower to work,my mattress was completely sunken in the middle and the room smelled of a heavy cover up for perhaps smoking?? Very disappointed. Pool closed due to Covid, breakfast was coffee & creamer and they upcharged $25. for Pet Friendly. It wasn't budget.
Not the worst we've stayed in
Yes, the rooms are a bit run down. The couch probably shouldn't be sat on. The walls had holes in them and the tub surround was falling off the walls. Bed was ok, we were just here to sleep. Breakfast was ok as well. Staff were moderately friendly. Price was definitely right for what we were looking for.
Disgusting
This is ridiculous stayed there with my girlfriend and had the worst experience. Was gonna check out but paid cash. Mold in the AC some gunk in the sink. Sheets disgusting like they weren’t changed. Bathroom looks as if they never clean it or make repairs. Counters filthy.
