Hotel Cristallo

stayed here as part of TMB. It was a little farther than I expected from the bus station, but overall, I kind of liked it more than I would admit. I admit that it has the benefit of being compared to other TMB lodges I came across, but I couldn't particularly find any real faults especially given the price point. sure breakfast could be done in more pleasant setting, lounge area could use some upgrade, etc but the view was unbelievably good, laundry service was a gem, and wifi worked well). Being a little higher up than other places probably helped to cool down the room which was awesome given there wasn't AC (as expected). I actually don't mind staying here again with my wife if I ever come back here.

Just back from 4 night stay here. It’s a lovely traditional little Italian hotel. Bedrooms are small but very clean and plenty of hot water. The staff make this place, Delia is the star of the show, she was so helpful and friendly. She gave us so many recommendations. Mathew also looked after us well in the evenings. Breakfasts was excellent. This hotel is great value for money and well situated for ski lift and meals out.

Mark Warner manager did not understand the meaning of customer service. Mark Warner brochure misrepresented the hotel with "intimate bar" description actually equating to an adapted kitchen trolley! Rooms and bathrooms had multiple faults and although photographic evidence of everything given to Mark Warner who acknowledge it, they refuse to deal with the problem in any way. Customer service is something that neither the Mark Warner local manager or their own head office know the meaning of. We would skied for many years but this was our first and indeed will be our last experience of such an appalling company.

This is a gem! Old, worn and absolutely great. The staff with Matteo and Giorgio will go out of their way to make your holiday the best. Rooms are basic but everything is spotlessly clean. Location is great, right in the center. A little bit hard to find if you’re coming by car (don’t let your navigator trick you into a cul de sac, as our’s did). All in all, a great place to stay!

I just had a one night stay here as i was in Courmayeur solely for The Monte Bianco Skyway which is only 3km away.I got a last minute booking for 40 Euros. It is a chalet style hotel a little quirky and dated but in a way that has it's own charm.There is a sizeable lounge area with many easy chairs. My room and the hotel were spotless and at reception everyone was very helpful and could speak good English.There is also free on site parking. The breakfast was the usual continental fare which was good but not exceptional although the coffee was really good. It is in the town centre but there is a limited choice of bars and eateries Recommended for a short stop.
