Short stay
We decided to take 2 days in this hotel on our way home. The reception staff was excellent, very polite and helpful. Great first impression. The rooms were big. We took family room-conecting double room, and it had two double beds plus two (double) couches. Plenty of space for everyone. Breakfast was good with a variety of internetional food. As for dinner, the food was not so diverse, kids didn't like it. Maybe it would be nice to have some kind of "children menu" like chicken nuggets, small burgers, hot dogs. The sweets were great! For the dinner you pay for the drinks, and for the breakfast they are free. Aquapolis was nice, kids loved it, dough they were a bit sad hat they couldn't use the slides on our last day, because the opening hours are from 12:00, and check out is at 11 o 'clock. There is a small playground in a hotel for small kids in the hall of the hotel, and the bigger one near the pools, but we didn't use it. You pay extra for the gym. Overall, very nice hotel, at a great place, walking distance to the centre of the Szeged. Hopefully we will come again.
Ok hotel, but the silent spa and sauna area should be improved
The hotel and the restaurant were ok for a four star hotel, but the Silent Wellness was not silent and there was no professional supervision. They allow people to enter the saunas and steambath wearing swim suits. This is extremely toxic and unhygienic according to all sauna guidelines and practices. The Silent Wellness should be a no textile area, like in all high-standard spas in Hungary or other countries in Central and Western Europe, where people should relax in silence. The big pools were was a little bit crowded at certain times but this can be expected at such a place.
Disappointing
the hotel is clean, rooms ok. the mattress is not comfortable. the same breakfast every day. Dinner not very varied with low quality products. Translation of preparations into another language very bad. at dinner they served beef, on the presentation label he wrote in English beef, and in Romanian: pork. very, very weak hotel.
the town is beautiful, the hotel location is perfect
The room was Clean, everybody was kind, the hotel was very close to the centre of the town. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is connected to the city's famous spa. There are available wellness services like massage etc
City in one building
One of the biggest spa near hotel Aquapolis with children playing area with finest dining and good room service with secure car parking and a lot of medical staff. It's not cheap but is equal with service. I suggest for any familly an conformable break or a long holiday here
