For the price I expected ultra high service, rooms are so so ( look old ) , telephone not working and TV doesnt work due internet problems. Still, the sunday brunch is good and the place is nice with Mexican architecture bulidings.
a dream came true

20 years ago I was a "poor" language student learning Spanish in Cuernavaca. We always marveled at the hotels with beautiful gardens in Cuernavaca but it was way out of reach for us. I have returned to Cuernavaca (now as a fluent Spanish speaker!) a couple of time since but this time, last minute, decided to splurge and spend a night at Las Quintas. I did not regret it. The room was big and clean and had everything we needed. The gardens are stunning. Valet parking is included. The breakfast is extra but well worth the extra charge. There is also a great tacos place nearby if you decide to eat out. Location: it is not in the center, but we had a car so it did not matter. If you really want to enjoy the best of Cuernavaca, stay in a hotel with the famous beautiful gardens, and you cannot go wrong with this choice.
beautiful setting and central

The setting is beautiful, but the staff were not helpful. We attended a wedding and were not given our hospitality packets which contained information that was needed about meeting places. We had to ask at least 3 times for them and were told me had already gotten them. There is no elevator, and luckily upon check in heard someone else ask for the new rooms.....we would not have known there were new or old rooms. These new rooms are small, and the bathroom is tiny.....cupboard space minute! view from the balcony great, looking onto a courtyard with bougainvilleas . The dinner for the rehearsal was excellent - all Mexican food, and the outdoor space beautiful. The breakfasts were good , sitting in the outdoor space was very pleasant. The pool I think was heated and lots of kids enjoying the swimming. The ubers always seemed nearby, and there was a small cafe nearby to buy cokes, chips etc. Our friends were able to book hair appointments at the spa across the road - don't know if it is part of the hotel or they have the use of the place.

Good Place in the heart of Cuernavaca, possibly best brunch in Town has plenty of choices, come at 11.00 and expect to queue but worth the wait, would come back again with kids. Natural swim pool with hot tube for adults
Conference groups take priority
Reviewed 17 january, 2020
I have stayed here three times and have had the same experience each time. There is no doubting the complex is beautiful and the grounds very well maintained. However the hotel appears to cater mainly for conference groups who meet on site . Every time it was excessively noisy with their after work social events. I was also a bit annoyed that guests were not given access to the restaurant as it was reserved for the conference party. We had to eat in the garden , which was quite nice but it would have been good to have the choice. One morning even the breakfast buffet was outside. The rooms are very picturesque but really do need some refurbishment. The bathrooms are not great and it took ages to get hot water from the shower. Such a shame as the place looks wonderful
