Great staff and great place to stay. Highly recommend if you are visiting and want to experience the local culture. You absolutely have to try the amazing restaurant. They have some of the best chilaquiles and enchiladas. Definitely a hidden gem in Culiacan.

What a Dump! Health Warning!

Do not let the photos fool you, this place is cheap, but it is very outdated in decor, very poorly taken care of and they have a very leaky roof that has created mold/mildew and other health problems that would scare any building inspector. There is no hot water, internet is super slow and crashes a lot, and it is sad because the location is excellent and close to everything.

I paid $33/night. Credit cards accepted. Outdoor corridor rooms, but security didn't seem to be an issue. Small restaurant onsite. Wifi. A/C. Clean. Shower was fine. Walking distance across the bridge to the center of Culiacan. Also a five-minute walk to a big shopping center with plenty of Western chain restaurants. Lavanderia right next door. You'll be fine here, but you won't be too close to the action...

Hotel La Riviera was a great location to see Culiacan, right across a bridge to the downtown area. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the price was right. A couple of notes, remember to ask for the remote for the air conditioner, and breakfast in the restaurant was only okay.

El trato que me brindaron desde que llegué es como si fueran amigos de toda la vida. Habitaciones limpias y remodeladas. Sencillas sin faltarles nada. En el restaurante la recomiendo el menudo y las enchiladas del suelo.
