Looks so different to the photos, very run down!

Reviewed 21 december, 2019

This is a noisy run down hotel. There was no one there when we arrived eventually the lady said do you having a booking?!!!!! Great start. Followed by how many nights?!!!! Then she disappeared presumably to get the room ready! The towels should have been thrown away many moons ago!!! The morning we were there for breakfast there was again nobody around. There must have been as there were dirty plates on a table but nothing was displayed buffet style so we left. Not impressed!

Machu Pichu Trip

Reviewed 6 september, 2019

The hotel was quick to settle us in after our 5 day hike to Machu Pichu. We were very tired and we appreciated this. The room was mostly clean and neat once we checked in. Some of the things that made our stay less than ideal was the sound of the loud doorbell throughout he night when people would need to come into the hotel. It was so loud it could be heard throughout the whole building. Additionally, we recurved two phone calls between 2-3am from an outside caller asking about touring services. This woke us up when we were trying to sleep. The water smelled as we tried to fill the sink or the tub. There was also a loud water sound coming from the vent behind the toilet. The room was presentable, but there were many things we dealt with once we stayed in the room longer.

Good hotel, very accommodating staff!

Reviewed 16 january, 2019

We arrived super early to Cusco that day and the staff immediately showed us a room to rest. The hotel room was very spacious. There wasn't enough hot water to go around at night but the staff was very quick to fix that. The rooms were quite cold at night time but there was a small heater in the room. They don't speak very good English but was very friendly. On our last day, we had an early check-out time and the staff prepared an amazing breakfast for us (which was outside the regular breakfast time) and booked a taxi for us to drop us off at the airport.

Decent value for money hotel

Reviewed 24 september, 2018

During our last trip to Cuzco, we stayed 7 days at this hotel based on price and good rating. While the hotel is not in the city center, it is an option to consider if visiting Cuzco. It is about a mile away from the plaza de armas and any taxi would take you there for les than 5 soles (2 dollars). The rooms are clean and in good shape, the bathrooms could use some improvements, no curtains to avert getting water everywhere. There is no elevator so carrying luggage upstairs is challenging. The view at the dining area is breathtaking and the staff was always helpful!

Good hotel!

Reviewed 6 july, 2018

We enjoyed our stay, the rooms are spacious enough and clean, the showers are always hot and enough pressure. Breakfast included was good! The only problem is it is a 20 minute walk to the center and as we’re three younger women we did not feel very safe walking home in the dark. However the taxis are cheap 6-10 sol for one way. The hotel would also call taxis for us. The staff was friendly and helpful but did not speak a lot of english. We enjoyed it but if you want to be close to the centre it may not be for you
