Don't stay here
The location is old and dirty, staff unprofessional, key card envelope was dirty had been crossed out and reused atleast 4 times. We were checked into a smoking room after booking a non smoking room directly with the property. We requested a refund as we were not going to stay there. Desk clerk had to call someone to figure out how to give the refund.

My mom and i stayed here 8 1 20 rooms were clean but had a fly or two no biggie nice bed comfy great location alot of restaurants near by walmart up the road molly at the front desk was awesome and they have good rates def coming back nxt year
Great little inn.
Stayed here on a cross country trip with my dad. I ended up leaving an item at the inn when we left the following morning. We called a few days later when we realized it was gone and they had saved it and shipped it to me for free. Great customer service. Room was clean and tidy. Price was good as well as the military discount. Overall... A great little inn!
No breakfast
This was a disappointing stay. We weren't expecting much, but were still very underwhelmed. When we got to our room, we discovered that the 3 queen beds was actually 2 queen beds and a double sofa bed. There was no hand soap, so we had to go back to the office to get that. Our sink wouldn't drain, so we also had to get maintenance to come and fix that. By far the worst part, though, was the lack of breakfast. Their website clearly advertises free continental breakfast. And, the office clearly has a breakfast location, with seating, fridge, toaster, and other breakfast things. But when we headed over to the office in the morning, nothing was out. We asked when breakfast would be, and were just told that there was no breakfast. The alternatives we were offered were some coffee and a 10% off coupon to a nearby Perkins. One of the primary things we were looking for when booking was a hotel with breakfast, so to have it just not be there was extremely frustrating, and completely ruined our morning plans.
tourist trap
It was definitely a cultural experience. The corn Palace Inn is dated but that adds to the nostalgia. Since the choices are limited, they have job security. It is noisy and jumping with life. It is definitely not the JW Marriott but it serves the purpose.
