Hotel viejo, con servicio deficiente, pero un precio bajo

El hotel se ve viejo y descuidado en sus instalaciones y mobiliario. Las habitaciones son medianamente cómodas, pero las amenidades son apenas suficientes. Es común encontrar la recepción vacía y tener dificultades para encontrar al personal. La ubicación es buena, en el cruce de dos vialidades importantes.

Desde mi llegada , muy mala recepción, ya en la habitacion me encontre una cucaracha , me cambiaron de habitacion y estaba sucia, les pedi ayuda para hacer una reservacion de taxi y "no me ayudaron" y al pagar les pedi la rtarifa semanal que tiene publicada y no me la aceptaron.
Jamas regreso a este hotel.

I drive for work, out of the last three places I visited, one was closed and two didn't have restrooms. No hotel has ever denied me use of their restroom, including the Statler, the Adolphus, even the Ritz, so I stopped asking the front desk if it's okay, big mistake I guess this hotel is far more exclusive. The guy at the front desk followed me in, demanded I leave, called me a "f---ing f--got" on the way out, and followed me all the way to my car with a handful of even more colorful comments aimed to provoke me into fighting him.
Called the manager the following morning who didn't really seem to care that he has an employee working the front desk (the first interaction potential guests are going to have) following people into bathrooms, slinging homophobia, and trying to start fights in the parking lot. All he did was cut me off and say he'd talk to the employee before I even finished telling him what happened. I get it, I wasn't a guest, I wasn't looking for any kind of compensation; and I explicitly stated that I wasn't looking for any kind of compensation before going into this story, I only wanted to alert the management to their employee's terrible and (frankly) dangerous attitudes. If he had simply asked me to leave the property that would have been one thing, but even though I was complying with the demands that were being made of me, it still escalated to a point at which I was afraid for my safety.
Not even a sincere apology was offered for the homophobia and threats of/instigating violence. It was just very evident that the management doesn't care how their employees represent their business, even if they're endangering the business.
I've only lived in the area about a year and a half, and I'm always looking for cheap hotels for when family and occasionally friends visit. Definitely won't be recommending this location to them.
On a side note, the lobby smelled really musty but the restroom had an ungodly odor, and no soap. For a hotel that reserves first floor restrooms for guests only, you'd think they could keep it clean and stocked.

As soon as you enter the hotel the front desk staff greets you with a smile. Great customer service as always. Rooms are spacious and very clean. I got a balcony room this time and the view was fabulous! For the price it was a great stay, enjoyed every bit of it. In Dallas this will be MY HOTEL!
Excellent location, staff. The most I like is the price.It is really worth!!!

The price was unbelievable. Location was excellent. Staff was very kind and helpful. They had Tex-Mex sea food restaurant attached the hotel.We had very fun time there and enjoyed.Hotel room was spacious, clean, and quite bed was comfortable. We slept like baby.Everything was cool.
