happy with our stay

While it wasn't the Ritz, our accomodations were very comfortable. I will say that it is entirely because of Channing at the front desk. He went out of his way to make sure our room was perfect, that we knew all the good places to eat and he was there for us no matter how annoying (I imagine) the situation was (he never let on). My husband can be cranky, but he definitely disarmed him and made our stay very comfortable.
Needs some work

I’d have to start off by saying the pictures were slightly misleading. I’m not hard to please but at the bare minimum the property should be clean. I arrived to check-in around 10pm and the lobby area was very dark. There was also a sign on the door that indicated some sort of inspection was taking place. I stood at the front for a few minutes before a young man appeared. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and to the point. While he checked me in, I couldn’t help but notice bags of trash in the office behind the desk. It was very messy behind the counter. The cleanliness of the property definitely was an issue during the duration of my stay. There were bags of trash randomly about the hallways. I felt like I was at a trap house. The room itself was decent but it was hard to overlook the stained carpets and old fixtures. I really wanted to like this place but it was very difficult. The beds were comfortable. The location of the property was decent as well. All in all, would I stay here again? Definitely not. The tall Sonesta Tower across the street was much better. We ended up checking out and going there.
So far my stay has been fantastic!

Marjorie has been the MOST helpful person ever!! She not only brings a smile to my face with her upbeat attitude and determination to do her job as best as she can, she has been patient and kind. And Justin, too! He's super awesome too. Over all great staff and very clean and home-y place.
Do not book here!!!!

Rooms are very outdated and smells like cigarette smoke. We had to be moved to another room because the heat wouldn't work in the first one but never worked in the second one either. We were on the second floor and could hear kids running around above us so it was hard to relax and sleep. Needless to say we canceled the second day and booked at a different hotel.

I was a little skeptical when first arriving but the stay has been excellent! Any ounce of help that we needed, we received it. With a special shout out to Channing who has been GREAT help! There was an issue we were having with our room and he made me sure he got my spouse and I another room that was in perfect condition! 10/10!! I will be recommending others and definitely stay here again when I want to take another weekend getaway. Thank you for an excellent stay Sonesta!
