Don't get fooled by first impressions

Where shall I start? Let's use the sandwich approach. Positive start: the hotel looks nice from the outside. Then: They lost our booking (although they won't admit it, this is because they wanted to accommodate a soccer team that had booked after us so simply decided to unilaterally cancel one of our booked and prepaid rooms). They did not want to cooperate with the booking agent and refused to give us a room in the mean time. Basically steering us to arranging another room in another hotel. We were however chatting directly with the booking agent who managed to convince the hotel to get a new room. Although we paid for two rooms with breakfast we got only one room and no breakfast. When we arranged the booking through contacting the booking agent ourselves (customer is king apparently does not exist in this hotel) they arranged a room for disabled people instead of a regular room. I am grateful that no disabled person with a booking that mysteriously disappeared same as ours, arrived at the hotel after us as they probably would have had to sleep under a bridge. In the morning the hot water was out. So had to shower in the cold water, like in prison. Positive note at the end: what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
Thrilled with my stay, Great Value

We had two separate suites for 3 nights. They were clean, well arranged and well furnished. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good given the COVID environment. The had an assortment of prepackaged breads, cereals along with fruit and a warm breakfast sandwich. The rooms had a full-sized refrigerator with freezer, microwave, cooking essentials (which I did not use), plates, bowls, glasses and silverware for 4. All of the service personnel were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that ESPN was not a TV channel option. One of the best values I have had in a long time.
happy with our stay

While it wasn't the Ritz, our accomodations were very comfortable. I will say that it is entirely because of Channing at the front desk. He went out of his way to make sure our room was perfect, that we knew all the good places to eat and he was there for us no matter how annoying (I imagine) the situation was (he never let on). My husband can be cranky, but he definitely disarmed him and made our stay very comfortable.

I’d have to start off by saying the pictures were slightly misleading. I’m not hard to please but at the bare minimum the property should be clean. I arrived to check-in around 10pm and the lobby area was very dark. There was also a sign on the door that indicated some sort of inspection was taking place. I stood at the front for a few minutes before a young man appeared. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and to the point. While he checked me in, I couldn’t help but notice bags of trash in the office behind the desk. It was very messy behind the counter. The cleanliness of the property definitely was an issue during the duration of my stay. There were bags of trash randomly about the hallways. I felt like I was at a trap house. The room itself was decent but it was hard to overlook the stained carpets and old fixtures. I really wanted to like this place but it was very difficult. The beds were comfortable. The location of the property was decent as well. All in all, would I stay here again? Definitely not. The tall Sonesta Tower across the street was much better. We ended up checking out and going there.
So far my stay has been fantastic!

Marjorie has been the MOST helpful person ever!! She not only brings a smile to my face with her upbeat attitude and determination to do her job as best as she can, she has been patient and kind. And Justin, too! He's super awesome too. Over all great staff and very clean and home-y place.
