Absolutely awful stay!
This was a horrible hotel to stay in the staff was very unfriendly someone was pounding on our door at 3 AM then 10 minutes later the same pounding again we called the first time they seemed extremely annoyed and after the second time still nothing was done we did not go back to sleep the toilet had been painted over numerous times and was flaking off on the toilet seat just disgusting!
Not so great.
The floor we were on smelled of weed the entire time. Children running up and down hallways, dogs barking. They weren’t able to move us so we were stuck. It was like being in the twilight zone. We got up to the floor and security was up there talking to a room about the weed smell but that didn’t stop the smell because it was there all weekend. People on this floor were extremely loud and their children were running up and down the hallway like it was a trac or something. There had to have been at least 3 dogs because they were barking at all hours of the night. 3 of the towels in the room and the shower curtain had makeup stains on them. The hotel room was lacking of many simple things. And was extremely dusty. Parking is $18 a night and to enjoy the loud, weed smelling floor was about $118 a night. Would not recommend and I say this because of their inability to change anything as far as relocating me to another room.
Bad
Hotel didn’t meet standards for price I padded for the room, I had called and asked if I could get a microwave which was supposed to be in the room and I was just told to go down stairs and use one there
Disappointing
Two years ago this hotel was great! Now they don’t clean rooms daily provide horrible unfilliing breakfasts and many problems arose. We ran out of toilet paper tissues had to ask for towels and for trash to be removed. Smoke detectors were going off all night, soap and sanitizer containers were often empty. Very unhappy this time
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had traveling and staying w/ Hilton.
The front desk told me as a Diamond Member they didn’t care how long I had traveled with Hilton. They provided a room to me at 12am, when I opened the door, someone was yelling and cursing at us because they gave us access to a room that was already occupied. Room 1911. Upon going back to the desk there were no apologies and no follow up with the member already in 1911 to explain the inconvenience. We ended up going to the property in. Highland Park because the last room they said that was available was of a Motel 6 caliber at best. Don’t stay with this property for any reason!
