Aria Doria Otel

We found this hotel on Tripadvisor and initially hesitated to book because we saw that the area was residential. I'm so glad we stayed as it is actually located in a beautiful neighborhood which is walking distance from the beach and great restaurants. Another concern was, of course, Covid19. Our fears were put to rest upon arrival. Everyone was masked, the hotel was spotless, hand sanitizer was available, rooms had four sources of ventilation with three windows and the balcony door. Breakfast was served individually and outside. (It was delicious with what tasted to be homemade specialty jams, delicious breads, and all of the traditional Turkish breakfast offerings.) The pool is lovely and surrounded by abundant flowers including blooming banana plants. We loved it. We can't recommend it too highly. Finally, just know that the staff was incredibly helpful. We had many questions and the owner took a great deal of time to answer all of our inquiries. We hope to back!!

We visited this lovely small hotel in February with some friends. It's really a gem, quite new and situated within walking distance of Datca city centre. The management of the hotel is very friendly and helpful!! We had a room with sea view, room was very clean, large and nicely decorated, bathroom also very clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious, everything available, boiled eggs and omelet, cereals, fresh bread, labneh, several kinds of cheese, delicious home made jams, fruits, tomatoes, cucumber and even börek. If we will ever visit Datca again, I will definitely book this hotel once more! The weather though was really cold and very windy. A visit to Datca will be best in spring or autumn and even in summer as it always has a nice breeze.

We have been in Aria Doria first week of September, after high season. Weather that days is marvelous! Hot days and cool evenings - perfect to spend on the balcony with a glass of wine after long swimming day ) Huge pluses of hotel: As we arrived 1 day prior booked day - they kindly changed our reservation and made the room ready. Location is perfect - just several minutes walking from main streets and local beach, plus some evening sports coming back from dinner 😄 Personnel is very pleasant, kind, helpful (at any time of the day, 24 hours, make all your requests and do everything to make you feel comfortable and happy). Extra blanket? - you are welcome, a cheese plate when restaurant is already closed? Ok, we will cut all cheese kinds we have and bring with nuts...always smiling and happy to see you. Cleaning is a top Turkish level (if you understand what I mean), even comparing with best 4and5 stars hotels. The one difference you find not 3 but 2 towels per person plus towel for feet. Room refreshment is every day, clean linen on request or once in 3 days. No dust (even in the balcony!), fresh and pleasant smell. Food is amazing quality. Breakfast is always fresh and full. I would not say, you have lots of choices for kids and vegans, no sweets, but eggs- boiled and fried, toasts or potato’s, cheese plate, sausage, the best olives (my husband would eat his fingers with those olives), fresh bread, fruits, some milk and cornflakes, honey , local jam, butter , tea and coffee... everything is top quality. Even bathroom cosmetics. Some precautions (not minuses): We have booked the place via Hotels.com - service was ok - but better book the place directly. Prices are the same, management is very adequate. Tall guys- don’t take mansard floor - ceiling there is something unwalkable ;) and also ask bigger bed for 2. For those who used to 5stars hotels treatment- we told that it’s our honeymoon, but no welcome sweets or fruits were waiting for us. And it’s ok ) Because when we checked out 1 day earlier, than planned and hotel couldn’t return us money for 1 night (as we booked via other provider) - they were so kind and didn’t take money for all we ordered from Room Service!!!! You can understand, that problem management is also top level. Every detail in hotel is perfect! We definitely come back !

What a gem of a hotel! New and modern with lovely decor and design. The owner Gökçen speaks excellent English and could not have been more helpful. Location is ideal with beautiful views over the harbour and bay.

What a little gem of a boutique hotel. This was picked as they take dogs. I always try and travel with my dog in turkey. They couldn’t do enough to help. Rooms beautifully decorated and lots of space. Lovely olive shampoo n conditioner supplied. Pool very secluded lovely sunloungers. Breakfast everything you could want. Will definitely be back
