Stayed for 2 nights, and arrived at about 6.30pm to be greeted by a warm comfortable and clean room. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. A bit disappointed that there was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom, and therefore bathed and washed my hair using hand soap liquid. It was ok The toilet cysteine was coming away from the wall and every time I flushed the loo I had to be very careful. I was though looking forward to a hearty farmhouse breakfast to start my day after reading previous great reviews, but was most disappointed when the proprietor told me the kitchen wasn’t in operation, and I would have to get breakfast from a cafe in town. Costa coffee therefore on the first morning and Tesco’s yoghurt, granola and a sandwich, which I kept in my car overnight for the second morning Altogether quite good, acceptable, but a little disappointing

This place is a converted farm yard... everything is clean and well done... The room is fairly modern (OK - the tiles in the bathroom are a bit dodgy..)... there is a fabulous mix of modern and old (some furniture and pictures). The welcome was fabulous... WiFi worked very well... EE mobile signal is zero!! It's just outside the town, it's on a private road which makes its really quiet!! For the money - it's brilliant value! But remember, the accommodation is on a farm, so don't expect 5* luxury...

Wonderful ambience, the food is very good especially the breakfast. Lovely clean rooms and lovely hosts. Can't wait for my next stay, beats other 4 star places hands down. Nice and quiet and off the beaten track. Beautiful bed with lovely thick quilt and big fluffy pillows. Wonderful experience!

On arrival on 2nd August 2014, we were greeted by the owner who made us feel extremely welcome, the two rooms we had booked, where well kept, spacious and very clean. Tea & coffee making facilities available, and the offer of some slices of freshly baked home made lemon drizzle cake, which was very welcoming. Had a great nights sleep after a wedding we had attended locally, and ate a lovely full English breakfast, with also fresh coffee and the choice of cereal if preferred, would recommend this idyllic country cottage stay, we will return again.

Great Farm Bed and Breakfast

Lovely traditional British B & B. Farm buildings converted into lovely rooms. Beda were very nice and comfortable. The duvet was thick and walm, a treat to snuggle into. The breakfast was wonderful with very friendly and helpful service. Room had a TV which worked well although we only used it for a short while. Realy helpful and friendly couple that run this place and well worth a visit. We will be back.
