Lovely beachfront property on a nice flat beach

Grand Seas is being completely renovated and they have done a very nice job with the renovations (which are still underway but noise was not an issue at all) at this beachfront property. Two outdoor pools plus an indoor pool and kiddie pool. Mini golf and game room available. Tiki bar and a cafe on property. Very close to good restaurants and grocery across the street. Nice staff and very visible security team. Just be aware that ocean front rooms do not have balconies or windows that open. Pool area and beach, however, are very easy to access.
Good location but not worth the money

We went for a family trip, the location is excellent as beach is right in front. Few months ago when we planned the trip we asked specifically for a beach facing room. First of all the check-in experience was bad as the front desk doesn't seems to like diverse people. Anyway, after crossing that hurdle when we went to the room then we were surprised how a Palm tree was standing right in front of the window, blocking the amazing beach/ocean view. When we called the front desk they said we cannot change the room and will charge us the cleaning fee (stupid people, unless someone step inside the room, how can you tell whether a room is good or bad) if we do. Then after an hour of back-n-forth with our booking company, exploria resorts customer service & front desk , they concluded that all rooms were booked and they cannot move us. We were frustrated at that point and Kids were very sad. Finally we settled down in the same room. It was an upgraded room (that's what they told), but after looking at the table, chairs, room, bathroom, it didn't fell like an upgrade. The bedroom is on the hallway side, so you could hear all the people walking in the corridor. Refer photos. Anyhow, the beach access is wonderful & it has 3 pools (1 indoor included). Kids enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, arcade & mini golf. Outside dining, grocery & liquor store are at walking distance. We could see the security guard all the time, which felt safe. Overall if they would have given us a better view room, respected us by talking friendly and a proper upgraded room, I could have definitely give this property a better star rating. People may have different views/opinions, but what matters is the experience they went through.

Everything closes early, including the patio area. Uber is really convenient and reasonably priced! Check out the Ocean Deck! Get EVERYTHING in writing! Staff does not communicate with one another. The beach and views are gorgeous

The half of the Grand Seas Resort that has been renovated, is quite nice. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get appropriate accommodations during the summer due to the other half still being worked on and unavailable. Despite this inconvenience, the resort is clean with exceptional customer service. It’s location is close to great restaurants and entertainment. The multiple pools are the best you can find in Daytona. The tiki bar and restaurant are excellent. However, the price is inflated for the size of the units, which is the biggest drawback. I will stay here again in the future.
Great location, but . . .

This place is undergoing a lot of renovation that looks like it will take months. So if you go be prepared to see construction workers everywhere during the week and lots of noise. The location is very good with a Publix and many restaurants in walking distance. WiFi was hit and miss (mostly miss) and the parking leaves a lot to be desired. No balconies unless you score a room on the ground floor. We were not offered one.
