Great experience after long term parking misunderstanding
We stayed here overnight the night before we had a 6 AM flight from DIA. I had contacted the hotel in advance about scheduling the free shuttle and leaving our car there for long-term parking. The way the wording is on the website it made me believe the parking was $20 total for the first seven nights. The hotel employee clarified it was $20 per night for the first seven nights. I was disappointed and upset about this and asked to cancel my reservation. The hotel manager worked with me to come up with a more than satisfactory solution. I was very impressed by this and it made clear that the customer is their priority. We arrived early evening and were able to schedule a reservation so that our kids could swim. The pool was absolutely perfect for kids taking a fun swim. The room was spacious, clean and the kitchen was perfect for heating up a meal brought from home. We used the airport shuttle for a 4 AM pick up to go to the airport. The shuttle was complementary, on time and the gentleman driving was kind and helpful. In addition the grab and go breakfast was out and ready well before 4 AM and was substantial for Covid times. Overall we were beyond pleased with our experience and will return again if we have another early morning flight!
Clean and comfortable!
First visit at the Residence Inn Denver Airport did not disappoint! Clean and spacious rooms made me and my husband feel right at home! A large TV allowed us to watch our favorite shows, while unwinding from our mountain drive. To-go morning snacks meant we did not go hungry before our flight home. With a great location close to the airport, clean rooms, and friendly staff, I look forward to our next stay at the RI Denver airport!
Spacious studio rooms fit our needs perfectly
We stayed at this Residence Inn for a weekend when my daughter was attending a dance convention at the Gaylord Rockies Resort, which was less than a half mile away. It was offered at a great price at $94 a night, compared to the Gaylord, that wanted $260 a night. Our room was huge with a couch, desk, full kitchen, two queen size beds and a handicapped accessible bathroom. It worked as a great home base while we traveled back and forth to the Gaylord for classes and competition, and gave us room to stretch out and prepare meals in between scheduled events. When we checked in, our initial room had the front door to the room standing wide open and unlocked with a dark room inside, so I reported this to the front desk clerk and she immediately gave me a new room on the first floor since I didn't feel comfortable entering a dark room that had the door blocked open. I really appreciated this prompt attention to this concern. My only concern with the new room while staying there was the shower curtain for the fully handicapped accessible shower. It only reached halfway down and when we showered the bathroom floor became very wet and we had to wipe it down to keep from slipping. Otherwise, this room was so large and so clean and well stocked with dishes, dishwasher, soap, full size refrigerator, etc. We will make this our go-to hotel every time we attend a dance convention at the Gaylord from now on.
Both visits have exceeded my expectatiosn
Aloha. I've stayed here twice in September 2019 and April 2021 before morning return flights to Hawaii. The rooms both times have been fantastic, modern, and the location has been very convenient to the airport. The extra large big screen TV swivels so you can watch at the desk, bar, kitchen, and bed. The staff are very nice, although I think the check-in lady might have thought I was homeless because I walked in pretty gruffy after a long day skiing and raced to the restroom with a grocery bag on top of my roller bag. After walking towards me and asking, "can I help you? (are we going to need to call security)" her suspiciousness changed to a smile when she saw my Elite status. My first stay was ground floor room and had a very large kitchen and separate bedroom. My second stay was a 4th floor studio. Both were rooms I wish I had more time to stay in with my family. Especially the bar layout, which is how we eat at home. Enjoy.
Great stay to rnd vacation
Stayed for a night before leaving Colorado. Love Marriot beds, always comfy ! As Ambassador elite, I could create my own 24 hrs...and when I checked in around 7:30pm, I was surprised when I was told that I have to check out at 4pm. Our flight doesn't leave till 8:30 pm, so we were going to stay in the room till closer to 6pm. The front desk clerk suggested I speak with their manager tomorrow, but shortly after settling in our room, Natalie said she spoke with her manager who honored Ambassador elite perk of making your own 24hrs . Can I say I love Marriot Bonvoy ? Before tonight, Ive already stayed 374 nights since Oct 2019.
