More about the hotel
3 night stay
Very nice welcome, lovely big room , comfortable bed, good quality sheets. Excellent shower and bathroom. Very quiet and clean. Good breakfast with good croissants. Have to drive ito eat out, good restaurants in Dieppe , 10 mins drive.
If we could give 6 stars or more, we would!
We arrived in the dark and much later than expected but despite this, were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is a beautiful old building very tastefully furnished and decorated. The bed was super-comfortable and the room very pretty with lovely views of the garden. At breakfast the next morning we had the biggest choice of homemade jams and preserves I have ever seen! I cant recommend this place highly enough and would love to stay again
Wonderful Countryside Stopover
What a find! Beautiful bed and breakfast accommodation in a quiet and relaxed location with comfortable beds, well tendered gardens, great breakfast and a charming and wonderful host. Delicious and atmospheric harbour side restaurants in nearby Dieppe make this a perfect place to visit on the way back from Paris to the channel crossing.
Beautiful location and house
We had a lovely 3 day stay this month. The owner Philipe was very kind and friendly. The rooms were clean and bright. The only downside was we thought we were booking two rooms with sitting room and shower - but there was no sitting room and we had to share the access to bathroom with our friend. Perhaps we misunderstoord the website Also, don't forget British travellers that French breakfast is fairly basic - but tasty jams and coffee. The hotel is ideal for visits to the many wonderful local gardens and near to both Dieppe and Le Treport for dinner
perfect stop in the country
Finding somewhere before hitting the Dieppe ferry we found the manoir pretty easily in Derchigny, a small village about 10 k outside. We had chosen a small room in the converted stables and it had a couple of quirks - definitely helped that we are both on the small side - but we knew that in advance so it was not an issue. The room was comfortable and and well set up - though remember its a not a hotel so no big screens, etc, but good wi-fi. We ate dinners in Dieppe and so no real very local options and we had elected not to eat at the house. The manoir though is so beautiful and to have breakfast on the terrace made it absolutely perfect. Its a great breakfast too with wonderful honey/ preserves/ breads etc. Great hosts and a great place
