Honestly I would give zero stars if possible . How the econo lodge hasn’t taken there flag of mind blowing .the rooms are what you would expect for the money but the saddest part of this property is not the broken doors or sub par cleaning , but the front desk staff . After having rooms changed on 3 occasions due to doors not working we were brushed off and threatened to be evicted from the hotel after asking to speak to the general manager .we were told he “took notes” he is unable to connect us with GM , and what did we expect at an econo lodge. Apparently not much, because all we were looking for is that are problem was acknowledged and not dismissed but honestly I don’t know how this guy got a job in hospitality. Housekeeping was great , John the maintenance guy was understanding, but the front desk will have you regretting your decision . Think I’m kidding just call and ask basic questions and see what attitude you get . I will contact choice , and booking.com but please do your self a favor and stay anywhere but here . You’ll spent more time in the parking lot waiting on your room then in it
We’re than I expected.

The front desk and housekeeping staff is very nice. The pool is convenient (not heated), especially when you can’t get to the beach. We did that our first day because it had rained. A free continental breakfast is offered and they even individually wrapped items for safety (donuts, bagels, etc.). The rooms can still use some love but it does have some positives. There is hard wood floors, the furniture appears to be updated. The beds are comfortable, the ac worked great. Fridge and microwave great size and operated fine. The rooms are clean, and the shower has great water pressure. Although a bit on the small size there is a flat screen tv. The walls and doors could definitely use some painting. There is an accent wall but a fresh coat overall would make a huge difference. There was also some flies in our room. My assumption is they came through the window unit as the room smelled fresh and were clean so I have no other reason to think why they’d be in a room. The rooms are basic, what I expect from this type of establishment. Your in the middle of everything you need to get to…restaurants, shopping, the beach, and you can’t beat the price. I’d stay here again.

Simply stated, don't go. Filthy, smelly. I thought I dropped something behind the night table. When I pulled the table from the wall, there was trash. But more importantly, I found that the electrical socket face plate was on the floor not protecting the socket. The light in the bathroom was burnt out--was not replaced. The room AC added odor to the room. The parent in the next room was abusing his children terribly so I needed to call 911--this is not the hotel's fault, but added to the total calamity of the vacation. The backbreaker was when a cockroach scampered across a bed. That was too much for me. I know it's not a first line hotel, but I do expect cleanliness.
Decent hotel on a budget

I stayed at the econo Lodge in Rehoboth Beach during the weekend of July 30th. The hotel is 2 mi away from the Rehoboth Beach. This is a perfect location if you don't want paying a high price for a beachfront hotel which are very few in Rehoboth. The location is perfect as it is close by to eateries and you also have an option to go to the beach using public transportation. The bus stand is right by the entrance. The room are spacious I was in room 315 and it has a family room and two queen beds. Room comes with a small balcony, refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker . There is continental breakfast available. Hotel also has a swimming pool which is open from morning until 8:30 p.m. I personally liked the hotel very much and do not have any complaints. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting to Rehoboth Beach.

So we booked 3 weeks ago. We checked out at 11am today July 31st. If we didn't check out on time they probably would have charged us another night and if they did they would hear it from us. Here's why because we booked the room 3 weeks ago before the trip booked for July 27 we left 4 am just to be here early with the expectancy to check in early or an hour early is 3 pm. Check in is at 4pm but, the room was not ready and they were an hour late to give us our reserved room. Now can anyone tell me does this sound right to you? because the guy we were on the phone with since before this trip said he'll pass a note to his manager about it because she wasn't there. What a scumbag just for that we knew there wasn't going to be a comp for the room and there should have been what a damn shame!! The only nice things I can say the beds were comfy and the balcony was great too.It wasn't loud on the side of the hotel which was great but thats it. The front desk needs to know how to do their jobs and be customer oriented. Shameful!
