Traveled to Monument Rocks and found this little hotel on the way. The room was clean with a refrigerator, microwave, and ROKU which was nice. Enjoyed the staff and resourceful about the area. Fresh coffee in the morning! Definitely recommend if you're passing through.

This hotels looks charming in the pictures but it is not as advertised. The rooms were dirty. The sheets were dirty. The mattress old & saggy. The bathroom toilet was clogged & the shower handle fell off. The rugs were stained & the rooms smelled of mold. It was noisy. I believe this is home to the local day workers in the area & they share rooms & stay up late. Their voices traveled like they were in your room. It was so bad for one couple that they slept in their car instead of staying in the room. I only lasted 3 hours, then I left & slept in my car. Really terrible. The managers seemed very nice so Im sorry to have to write such a negative review but this hotel, in my opinion, is a very unclean & unhealthy environment to stay in especially during these times.

We enjoyed our host and our room was always clean. Never any problems. Very enjoyable stay, and our fellow guests had a great time, never heard one complaint. Will be back. Good luck to the new hosts! We were there in 2015.

Do not stay here. Seriously. This is not quaint. It is just gross. 40-year-old carpeting with stains, 30-year-old mattresses, moldy fridge, etc. and so forth. Too much to even discuss. Just gross. Pictures are attached.

Ended up staying here because of the price and the heritage of the hotel. Staff was super nice and very helpful with check in and making sure I knew where everything was and where to find them if I needed anything else. Had to stay an extra night because of the snow. Upon leaving, the staff had shoveled a pathway to my car (very appreciative of that) through nearly a foot of snow before I left. Stay here. You'll be taken care of.
