Calm and peaceful retreat

You will not be disappointed visiting this hotel, the location is calm and relaxing, the grounds beautifully kept. The bedrooms are spotless and luxurious, and you must visit the spa. I had a truly relaxing facial. Friendly, professional staff. I was part of a corporate event and didn’t eat in the restaurants, the food was very good considering we were a large group.

We cannot recommend the four seasons Hampshire enough. From when we arrive to our last day today they have made our stay memorable we stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, the service facilities and activities are fantastic. We would like to thank everyone for making our stay perfect, our 5 year old loves it so much she wants to come back again and we are in December for a few days.
Would like to say a special thank you to Elliot Ian and the front desk team
Ali Daniele and the whole front team.
Everyone from the managers to the service and kitchen team at wild carrot went out their way to accommodate our needs and requirements. Our daughter drinks goats milk abs they arranged this for us from our first day until our last for the restaurant and in our room. We enjoyed the Spa treatments and pool.
We stayed in suit 4219 and I can’t fault anything and we cannot wait to come again.

The service at this place is first rate. I did some running and got stuck in the rain, when I got in the hotel offered to dry my clothes which they did at no cost and did beautifully, Even the shoes came back in a little wicker box - such attention to detail. Every member of staff from room service to reception seemed primed to make my stay a nice one

What a different a year makes. I must say, in the last year the Hotel has undergone quite a turnaround. The refurbishment is very successful with clean-lined, airy rooms which maintain a touch of the period, without being tired. The halls are truly well appointed with a particularly unique and attention grabbing wall paper. They read as classic and fresh. Supreme cleanliness reigns across the hotel as well and the grounds, which are well maintained.
The bar food was very good with a truly exceptional chicken burger. The finger sandwiches in the Library were out of this world, made all the better by the lovely room. I think it is the best room of the hotel.
Dinner was very good too, but the honourable mention and dish of the stay was the tuna starter. Simply sublime.
The staff in general could not do enough for us. From the restaurant to the Library, friendly and attentive.
We were particularly floored that Cecilia (breakfast) recognised us from a trip to The Torridon in June, where she was employed. I remember her as one of the nicest and friendliest staff members there and I must say, The Four Seasons made a great hire! Incredible odds aside, how to make a guest feel special by remembering them from across the country across many months!
A particular mention also to Daniele, the duty manager, who takes customer service to the care and attention most would do well to aspire to. Exemplary.
High standards. Well done! I look forward to my next trip. This stay redeemed the Hotel Chain in my eyes.
