I booked a handicapped room weeks ahead and was told when I arrived that it was not guaranteed, only a room for the night. The GM was not at all apologetic and said she had others who had extended their stay but nobody ever called us to convey this. I wouldn’t stay here if you are handicapped because they don’t care about your reservation and I have never had a problem like this at another Choice hotel before, I was very disappointed! Beware if you are handicapped!

Stayed 1 night March 20/20. Thought it was looking a little run down. Neglected. My husband showered the evening we checked in after a long days drive. He went to bed right after his shower. The next morning when he stepped into the wet shower right after he woke up, he noticed the water on the bottom of the tub was black from his feet! What? His feet went no where other than from shower to bed and then back to the shower. Exactly how dirty is the floor and carpet in our room that in that short walk, his feet were so dirty? I was appalled! If the carpet and floor are that dirty, what about the rest of our room? Especially with the Corona Virus looming in our lives. I also found a bottle of prescription medication on the floor of my bathroom from the previous guest. The bathroom floor felt somewhat sticky when we walked on it. It was very easy to make an educated guess, this room was not cleaned well. Or properly. Or as promised, extra cleaning measures in the face of the Corona Virus, were certainly not carried out. Luckily I had disinfectant wipes with me to wipe down the room. Explaining my concerns to the front desk staff March 21st morning brought rather disappointing 2 responses. Yes, we know the carpets are dirty. The owner is bringing his carpet cleaner soon. Well these carpets are beyond dirty. They are extremely filthy! Should have been cleaned a long time ago! Professionally. The other response was a rather disrespectful, I really don’t care and you are annoying me “yes ma’am “, “ yes ma’am”. I walked away feeling my concerns were barely heard, I was being annoying and certainly not taken seriously. Very disappointing to say the least.

Spent a week at this hotel while in dothan for business. I'm not sure how the price stacks up with other local options because my company paid the bill. However, it was a very enjoyable stay and a great hotel to work out of. The rooms were super clean every day and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast is typical but fresh and perfect to get you going in the morning. When we returned after work, the entire place from the rooms to common areas were very clean and tidy. The beds were more comfortable than most places. The bathroom was nice and clean daily and the shower had plenty of pressure and the shower head is high enough for taller guests. I was very happy with my stay and will definitely return here next year for the same work trip. Thanks to all the staff for a comfortable stay.

We stayed here for a week. Nothing fancy. The bed was comfortable, great pillows and the shower had good pressure and hot water. After hard day of work, that's all we cared about. The breakfast was standard fare and always warm. Only complaint was walls are thin and could hear other people's conversations.

We stayed in two rooms while travelling home from Miami. We were very pleased. The beds were very comfortable. Thehe room was immaculate. The front desk was efficient. The breakfast area was very clean and well supplied. There are alot of eating establishments within a short drive.
