Warm and welcoming B&B!
David and his Dad Billy couldn't have been more helpful. The room was spotless with a really comfortable bed and we had a perfect night's sleep. The full Irish breakfast was delicious - including the famous Ulster potato cake and soda bread. We loved the charming, friendly town of Hillsborough and found it a great place to base ourselves before heading up to the Northern coast. We'd be happy to stay here again.
Excellent b&b
I have stayed here a couple of times now and I cannot fault this place. David is so helpful and will help wherever he can and a brilliant host. The location is very peaceful and the rooms are very clean and well looked after. I will stay again when visiting family.
Superb!
I stayed for 3 nights while I was attending Balmoral Show. David and Gillian could not have been more accommodating! It was a short ride from the show ground, the room was lovely and very comfortable and the breakfast was great!
Great
My partner and I recently stayed here while attending a wedding at a venue nearby. We arrived and David was there to welcome us. A lovely man, who manages to run the B&B efficiently aswell as the farm across the yard. The room & ensuite were both spotless, bright & modern. Breakfast was very tasty (black pudding not normally my thing but it was delish!) and I've never stayed anywhere that asks you what time you want your breakfast at, so it was lovely not to feel pressured into a very early breakfast! Oh and freshly brewed coffee just topped it off! Overall, a lovely stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area!
