a weird type of hotels
Opinión escrita el 9 de Octubre de 2015
The staff are very unfriendly
The bad smell of the restaurant in the mezzanine floor reaches the reception but it is a miracle that it doesn't reach the rooms
the room is acceptable taking into consideration that this is a budget hotel
I cannot ignore that the water heater had rust
they did not serve breakfast in the morning, no buffet.
I came across a manager who was shouting at ths staff there maybe because they missed preparing the breakfast

I had to check in to this hotel as I needed quick accommodations and it was near. Everything was terrible. The mini bar was rotten and smelly, not to mention not working. The service was rude, and they also imposed hidden charges. Never to be repeated.

Ny bad journey started with the Taxi
He dont know where the hell is it , i wasted time and money
Man even the local taxi in barsha neighborhood didnt know where is it
Room wasnt huge but clean
They had a problem with the parking so we had to park all cars in the street
They made a big problem with me when I had my friends for dinner , they told me take your friends and dinner and stay at our restaurant
You are not allowed to go with them to your room
And they were rude as hell
Never going there again
It rates itself as a 3 * property and that is probably right

I felt that booking the Richmond Greens Hotel was less of a 'journey into the unknown' as many previously reviewers from European countries had given it a favourable review. When I arrive, mid-evening, the reception staff were friendly and welcoming, quick and efficient, which was a nice surprise. I stayed on the 4th floor and the room was large, the bed comfy, and the shower hot - the main criteria for me. I really needed a hotel handily placed to access the metro, that was quiet and reasonably priced. The Richmond Greens Hotel met those requirements and I would happily stay there again and recommend it to others. I did not eat there, or use the facilities so I cannot comment on them. If I was asked about any negative points, then it would be just the two unpleasant individuals on reception at check-out. I exited the lift and offered them a hearty good morning, which was ignored. I handed over my key and said goodbye (as payment had been completed upon arrival) and was rudely told to, "Wait"! I asked why and was told, "we need to check you room". I asked what they need to check for and was told, "Wait", again. I appreciate it's not a 5* property and that the proprietors do not probably invest a lot in customer service training, but is it really too much to expect a small degree of courtesy towards the guests, or am I expecting too much?
Pretty good hotel

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. It is a new hotel so not all taxi drivers know how to get there. Tell them it is very close to citymax and you will find it. On our first night we could not find them so we decided to call the hotel. After 3 calls someone finally came to pick us up at the corner of the street. Apart from that, the personnel is nice and pays attention to you whenever you pass by. The room was clean and the size was more than enough for us to spend just a few days. It is very well located, just behind the mall of emirates that you can reach by foot. The bed was extremely comfortable ! There was one morning where I was waken up by the sound of the construction work nearby but what do you expect when you come to Dubai right ? In general my stay there was very good, especially for the price that we paid, it is a good value for your money !
