Terrible at writing reviews which is why it is very late however upon seeing few reviews thought I’d leave it now. Great location and great hosts. Couldn’t complain about one thing and would recommend. I hope to return to Dubrovnik and would look to book here first.
Perfect location & apartment
A very nice location, right at the water’s edge overlooking the marina. Packed with restaurants & bars nearby as well as a supermarket & pharmacy. Delicious dinner at the rooftop restaurant, with a nice discount for guests. A super friendly, family run place who were very helpful. The renovated rooms near the pool are larger & more modern. Would definetly stay again.
Absolutely amazing place 😍
Absolutely amazing place! It’s a lovely family running business! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! We would definitely come back 😍 Location was just perfect! 4min walk to the nearest bus stop and then only around 10 min ride to the Old Town Dubrovnik, tickets are only around 14 kuna one way. Each ticket is valid for an hour. Good choice of local restaurants all around, I would highly recommend Green Garden with great choice of burgers and lovely local beer 😁 for breakfast we used to go to Marina Frapa which is just across from the Orka Apartments, lovely fresh orange juice and toast was a great start for the day! The nearest supermarket is just 10 min walk and offers fresh bakery plus it’s open till 10pm! The nearest beach is around 20 min walk but if you ask the locals they will show you shorter path! Pool area very clean, fresh towels and you can order drinks from the bar, The best part was obviously jacuzzi! 😍 Apartments are clean and towels are changed on request, Overall great value for money! Highly recommend due to its location and great amenities!
We are just back from staying at the Orka Apartments as a family of 3 with a 6 month old baby. I cannot fault the apartments, they were absolutely perfect for us for our first holiday as a family of 3. The pool area is immaculate and has a chilled vibe. The grounds are absolutely stunning with a beautiful little old church within them. We had apartment 1 which is situated to the front of the property. This has the most beautiful view and is across the road from the marina and looks directly on to it. Every day we would sit at the table and chairs outside the front of the apartment and watch the comings and going’s of the marina, be it people watching or yacht watching. It was the perfect apartment to have a young baby because whilst he was napping in his buggy, we would sit with a glass of wine out the front. The Orka cafe bar is directly across the road and sits directly on the marina. The rosè wine is delicious. The drinks are a little expensive but worth it for the stunning view. The hosts were most friendly and helpful and the apartment itself had everything we needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to return here again.
We have just returned from our trip to debrovnik, Croatia. What an excellent holiday. We stayed in a one bed apartment for a week. It was of a good standard, comfortable especially the bed, it had a fab pool area, which most days we had to ourselves: due to quieter time of year. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was lovely, again the deco and service to a high standard. Our only compliant would be the busy road in front of apartments. We didn't ask to be moved because of steep steps up to the apartments that were higher and more to the back of the building, because of my hubbys bad knee the downstairs was more convenient. We did get used to the noise over the week. The family who run the apartments are lovely and contactable throughout your stay, they even came to say goodbye and gave us a little souvenir... Nice touch.the location of these apartments is fantastic right on port gruz, for all boat excursions, local buses at the end of the street, no 6 takes you into old town.. Is 15 kunas per person one way and 10 mins. They run regularly throughout the day. It's a must see... Especially a walk of the walls. Further on from the apartments are excellent restaurants particularly recommend Peppers and skar winery. (See separate review) Behind where we stayed is a bay, sunset beach with a pedistrian area lots of bars and restaurant... Walk past sunset beach club to the right and you will find the cave bar (in more hotel). A fantastic location for a nice drink. They is a lot to say about Croatia I would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful country.
