Rude Staff Member- Otherwise Great Hotel
We have stayed here multiple times and love the location and quality of rooms. They have great breakfast options as well. When interacting with staffer Abigail O she was very rude and we were left with a negative impression of the place. After reading other comments it looks like others have had negative experiences with staff as well.
Nice room, Beautiful Harbor View
Really nice room, great view of the harbor. We liked the large walk in shower and it had a nice big TV. Bed was very comfortable. They had a nice grab and go breakfast that you pre ordered the night before. Located near the park and many restaurants. It was a bit more expensive, but the nice room and great location made it worth it.
By the boats
Love being so close to the water. Boats are feet from your room. You’re in the middle of a marina. The location is wonderful. It’s quieter since you’re on the other side of the lift bridge from all the other hotels. This one is newer than most others, so it has a more clean and fresh atmosphere. The staff is wonderful. The breakfast is decent, even during Covid. Request a room facing the lift bridge/Duluth. It’s beautiful.

Stayed here for a night on our way to the bwca. Nice location and great view of duluth. The desk clerk when we checked in was great. Helpful and friendly. Room was up to date and really nice. Very clean hotel. The next morning the desk clerk was a dud. Not helpful and not friendly. We were waiting for the breakfast. The server was late. The server was in no hurry to help is. We left. The server was an interesting dude. Really nice hotel but the staff was a mixed bag of extremes. I would try again. Hopefully the staff issues was due to bad morning????
Pleasant Stay
Nice hotel and very clean. Quiet and restful. Close to Canal Park and other Duluth sites. Good Covid protocols. The hotel sits on a bay and has great views of the harbor and Aerial Bridge. Would defiantly stay here again when in town.
