Its strange reading some of the reviews of these apartments. I thought I was reading about somewhere else because our experience was polar opposite to them. We booked a studio room for three nights and the day before check in we were told we had been upgraded to a one bed room apartment which we very much appreciated. The apartment was well furnished, very clean and the bed was comfortable. Our parking was right in front of our unit, a bit narrow for our car and a bit of juggling was required but that was fine. It was, warm comfortable and the woman we spoke to from the office was very nice. This was extremely good value for money and we will definitely stay again on our next trip to Dunedin.

First night of Southland road trip

We stayed for 3 nights on our southern road trip and were pleased with this studio apartment. Self check in was easy, we had a parking space outside our unit and the apartment was only a couple of minutes drive from the city centre. The unit had everything we needed, however the bed was quite hard and there is only a one burner stove top so you need to be creative with your cooking.

Accommodation was not as advertised plus the owner is very rude and treated us appallingly. We booked this accommodation because the description said it had private parking, which we needed,it does not have any parking. When we asked the owner about this he didn't care at all and didn't seem at all interested in rectifying the situation. The booking agent contacted the owner on our behalf, because we couldn't bear to talk to him again due to his attitude, and negotiated a refund if we were out by 10am the next morning, we were out by 9am (after an awful nights sleep). We found alternative accommodation for the next two nights. Now the owner is refusing to honour the deal and won't refund our money! We did everything asked of us but they will not be decent human beings. We are now out of pocket and had an awful experience. I would not recommend this property to anyone!!

The accommodation we were directed to had No off street parking provided even though it is advertised. Location was on narrow street full of residents parked cars. This was a problem for us due to health reasons. Staff (owner??) completely uninterested in our problem, in fact was very rude!! Dining/living tiny and too small for party of 4. Will not be back!!

Very comfortable, well furnished, very good kitchenette facilities. We were upstairs and had a small veranda too. The apartment was very well maintained and extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large enough. I would recommend this motel.
