An amazing stay at The Ruby Coco. Staff, location and cleanliness first class.

Fantastic quirky, cool hotel with amazing staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and exceptionally clean. Location was the best and right near the Christmas Markets and a short walk to the Rhine. Everything was literally on our doorstep. Breakfast was excellent and lots of choices. Can't say enough about this hotel and having my own travel business I will definitely be recommending it to my customers.

Pros: 1. Location is good. 2. Rooms are clean. 3. Check-in was easy. Cons: 1. No phone, no kettle, no minibar available within the room. Not even a bottle of water! As there is no phone available within the room, you cannot talk to the reception or bar when you need something. THERE IS NO ROOM SERVICE, NOT EVEN WATER AVAILABLE WITHIN THE ROOM. 2. Entrance of the hotel is not easy to find. Its actually inside some sort of a shopping mall?! 3. There are so many stairs. As a hotel, it needs to be convenient for people with luggage! There isn't anyone to help as well. 4. No leaflet, brochure available within the room to read out breakfast time, room service, etc. details 5. They mention their breakfast is rich but it's only about cheap granola, cheese, and bread. That's it. 6. Last day, housekeepers were talking out loud and laughing at corridors at a very early time in the morning.

Best Hotel In Germany So Far!

Reviewed 15 september, 2021

The Ruby Coco is a lovely hotel! Situated in a mall with a Rewe, not to mention some cafes and restaurants, and RIGHT by the station for underground, not to mention the lovely park front, you could not ask for a better location. The hotel itself has a charming Coco Chanel theme, and has a very upscale feel. The room had an extremely nice bathroom/shower with a good/fancy bidet, a nice shower with two sprayer options and decent pressure. It was super nice to be able to get some cold drinks and snacks at Rewe, and get coffee and breakfast in the mall cafe's (which includes a gluten-free bakery!) in the morning. We had two pillows per person, a hard and soft option. No mini fridge or kitchenette, which would be the only thing that would make it even better, but still a fantastic experience. It was delightfully quiet at night, and got lots of broadcast channels on the tv as well. One more note: Check the pictures of the bathroom set up, it's not a room you'd want to share with a coworker. The shower is glass and extremely not private, you will be very "on display" while showering to the room, and the toilet area, while opaque glass, is probably not the favorite of shy bladders.
