Poorly designed shower.
Nice hotel on the newer side. Unfortunately the shower was designed by a moron. There is no door or curtain so it's cold and water soaks the bathroom floor. I also have to wonder what the purpose of having a two burner range is if they're so cramped you can only use one pan anyway.
COVID Vist
The front desk gals are all awesome! We had a family emergency while we were here and the staff was so kind to work with us. We had to extend our stay 2 times and they were so understanding. They have taken lots of precautions during the new normal that is COVID. When we first arrived the pool and gym were open by reservation, but then was locked down. The staff were always wearing their masks and cleaning. We had a housekeeping snafu but it was quickly corrected. It was a FANTASTIC STAY during a difficult time.
Nice 💜
Nice, new building. Good service. Pool was out of towels and staff promptly restocked it. Breakfast was nice but standard minus the sausage. Other guests/families seemed to be on same page of courtesy and friendliness. I would come back to this location. Only downside was the app chat for service was seemingly down.
Beautiful New Hotel; Quiet and Restful Night
This is a new hotel. It is a beautiful facility. We stayed in a king bed studio suite one night before flying out the next afternoon from MSP. It is located about 7 miles from MSP airport, or a 10 to 15 minute drive to MSP and Mall of America. There are several restaurants nearby, but most are not within walking distance. The font desk staff was friendly and professional. Our suite was very clean and quiet. We liked the firm sofa in the suite. The king bed was very comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep. We liked the large bathroom and very large shower. We appreciated there being lots of outlets to charge our cell phones, camera batteries and iPad. The kitchen area has a nice layout. The HVAC system worked well. The free Wi-Fi in our room was a little slow and sporadic in staying connected. The suite was a little sterile in appearance and could use some framed photos or prints. The free breakfast was slightly below the quality of what we have experienced in other Residence Inns.
New Dog Friendly Hotel
Stayed here a few days with my dog. The hotel is adjacent to Hyvee, Starbucks and restaurants. It is also next to the community center which is a great and easy place to walk to dog. The hotel is about 10 minutes from Mall of America, MSP and five minutes to the outlet center. Room was clean and new! I had a one bedroom corner room and it was quiet. I liked that I could sign onto Netflix on the TV. The pet fee was $100 which is a bit high especially for a few day stay.
