Very disappointed with our stay. The room was very disappointing in size and was very run down and dirty. There was a stain on the bedsheet, chips all over the unit and no valence sheet which exposed a grubby bed. We ate at the Beefys restaurant which was very expensive for very poor food. The hotel does not include use of facilities which is very disappointing as this is an additional cost. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to stay.
All goog
Good stay , hotel and room meet my expectations. Good location, car park . Good restaurant with many choices.Room nice and clean. Bathroom clean. Good early breakfast many choices. General hotel meet my expectations.
Impressed - kudos to all staff
Stayed for one night on business. Hotel and room immaculate, room service good and ample-sized breakfast, included in fair room rate, and dinner no frills but tasty. A couple of - persnickety- food requests went unmet but can’t complain given the now skeleton staff and stringent COVID protocols hotel is working under. Good location, easy for motorway access and ample parking. Minor thing, but a bit annoying to have to put in a code to exit car park, especially in this COVID era. Again, only a minor gripe. Would be good to come back to savour facilities in full another time ...
disappointed
It was my partners birthday and I thought it would be nice to have a trip away. However the hotel was lovely from the outside. The staff of the other man- the gentleman who checked us in seemed very snobby. I paid roughly £140 to stay here for 1 night? So not a great start. Room was clean however the curtain were very long with a plastic stick attached so it made it ‘easy’ to push the curtains, in our room it was snapped with a sharp end which made the room feel and look very tatty.
Lovely hotel, great staff
Stayed six nights, being a Diamond member we were upgraded to a balcony room overlooking the cricket pitch. The view was unique, the room large, clean and comfortable, good shower. The executive lounge was closed so we received drinks vouchers for the bar Booking was required for breakfast which was well organized, the staff were friendly and professional. All Covid rules enforced, extra towels and supplies delivered quickly on request. Plenty free parking onsite. We had dinner in the restaurant twice, once using a Groupon deal, the food was good although a bit pricey and the menu restricted. Hotel guests get 20% discount at the Spa and I got in for a manicure at fairly short notice. Overall I would definitely stay here again.
