We spent two delightful nights on board the Fingal. Beginning with the warm welcome we received from the duty staff at reception to the discreet service of the room crew and the attentive dinner and breakfast teams, our main and lasting impressions are courtesy and professionalism. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we experienced a wonderful stay. Our twin room offered all the amenities one would expect of of star service and we loved the rather special bathroom toiletries.

Everything about Fingal is lovely, amazing service, high end finish, quality produce at breakfast and dinner, beautiful surroundings and decor, fantastic cocktails unique to Fingal and everything was thought about in the cabin, bed was amazingly comfortable, mini bar had it all, tea caddy had tunnocks and good coffee, with artisan truffles and fudge on arrival with personalised welcome letter. I am aware that I am hard to please and myself and my lovely husband had such a lovely experience onboard the fantabulous and glamorous Fingal

The Fingal is closely associated with the Royal yacht Britannia and offers the same standard of luxury and ambiance. Our Luxury cabin was well named. All the staff we interacted with were superb. The food was delicious and just as we like it. A truly memorable and luxurious evening for that special occasion

We have just returned from a night on board the Fingal and an event in their ballroom. It is utterly special and truly wonderful. The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and all around lovely. We had a young baby with us and they were very accommodating of him and our bulky pram which was a tight squeeze at times! The boat itself is just beautiful and tastefully decorated. We had afternoon tea with champagne before our stay and the food was delicious with some of the best cakes we've ever had. Our evening meal in the function was prepared and served by the staff of the Royal Yacht Brittania. The food was lovely and the service impeccable, with a little bit of military precision and timing. The individually named and styled cabins are unique with beautiful attention to detail in keeping with the theme of the boat and the lighthouses it serviced in its former life. It's a true taste of luxury and romance, without being pretentious. We have returned feeling refreshed and fallen in love with it. Definitely worth a visit for a unique experience.

Thank you to all the Fingal crew for a wonderful stay onboard. Arrived with a warm welcome, we pick up tickets for the Royal Yatch Britannia and returned to be shown to our cabin. We sat out on deck for a pre-dinner drink before getting ready to an outstanding dinner with a legendary Lighthouse cocktail. Our waiter was excellent and had plenty of time to talk to us about the ship and it’s location. A wonderful stay and would thoroughly recommend, I wished we could of stayed longer.
