A major disappointement
Room Nr. 3 has been rather comparable to a damp ramshackle hut furnished with old furniture you won’t have in your appartment: Drawers from beside tables were completely dirty and and partly broke up when pulling, the linen were probably the remains of an old hospital respectively its bancrupty assets, there were neither beside table lamps nor chairs, the floor was dirty, there was a constant draught due to leaky windows and consitently the shower curtain was mouldy. The pictures accessible online don’t match in any way the situation on the ground - that’s what we call fraud. Consequently there’s no other choice than a grading of 1 points respectively 0 points. Finally we payed a lot of money for no service and without breakfast ... probably better for us. Our tip, stay away from this place.
Worst stay ever!!
DON'T book to stay in this place. I booked it for 3 days for my boyfriends birthday, we had to leave after the first night. The walls are paper thin, the bed has springs coming out EVERYWHERE, the whole room was filthy and covered in dust, they plugs for our chargers didn't work, there was left over bottles of shampoo from the previous customer, they had put chocolates on our pillow for our arrival and one of them was half opened. The receptionist Chris was an absolute pleasure, he is the only good thing about the place. I had to pay for another hotel after one night in this place, and emailed for a refund 4 days ago and still no reply. RIDICULOUS.
Very pleasant
Stayed for one night, flying visit basically. Found keys in secure entrance locker & accessed room easily. The room was warm & very comfortable, with no noise from other rooms. I'd definitely book again, good value for money.
Great little find
A lovely guest house. There was supposed to be 4 of us staying there but ended up with just 2 of us. The room was lovely and the bathroom was spot on. Could not fault this place APART from when we were trying to sleep, the radiator would start making a random clicking noise which wasn't quiet.

2 night stay Pros: Clean room clean bathroom (OCD about cleanliness !!!🙄) WIFI Nice view of Arthur's Seat Close to city centre Opposite bus stop shopping centre near by (but hardly an shops in it) Safe at night ! Quiet - occasional radiator grumble CONs: No breakfast ! Over all meh !! good stay 🤔
