Well worth a visit! Fantastic views!

The food was amazing! Couldn't fault it one bit. Lovely, attentive staff! Views are amazing. Room was spotlessly clean, a bit on the small side. We had room 6 and were facing another window, would have loved to have had one of the other rooms with the view of the water and bridges. Not very noise proof, awoken from 6am with banging and doors slamming, only reason it didn't get 5 stars.
Lovely place, great room this time

We have stayed here a few times and the rooms do vary! This time we had a streetfront room which was huge. Sadly the main restaurant was closed but the bistro was open. It's not nearly as fancy as the other restaurant so it was a shame. It's quite diner-like and was busy. The food was lovely and service fast and friendly. Views are always spectacular.
This dog has had its day. Poor service

There is a reason why orocco pier does not have 5 stars on trip advisor , this is simply because the service provided by the staff is appalling. Me and my partner have come here once a month for breakfast and once a month for dinner today that’s finally come to end due to the declining service provided. The meet and greet at the door with the young man in the waistcoat needs an attitude check. My advice want better food and great service in south Queensferry Scott’s is where to go!!
Good place for lunch/dinner and drinks

After a long awaited trip out with my friend we decided on coming here to stay away from Edinburgh city centre. We had nachos to share and a good mixture of drinks. Service was good and all social distancing measures were in place. Great views from restaurant
Amazing view, sadly disappointing

Have been keen to try Orroco Pier for some time so decided to pop by after an overnight in Edinburgh with my partner and daughter. Was asked if we had booked when we arrived despite only 3 tables being occupied. We were placed at a table near the air conditioning and it felt cold during the entire visit - the main front was also open throughout the visit, although I assume this may be due to covid measures and restrictions they have with windows. After reviewing the menu for around 10 minutes, we were then informed that the choices for both my partner and daughter was not available - should've been informed of this when given the menu. When the food arrived it was fine and the staff overall were pleasant enough, however other than the amazing view of the Forth Railway Bridge it sadly didn't amount to much and felt it was poor value for money and not worth the price paid given the overall experience. I wouldn't rush back for food but can imagine it'd be lovely to sit with a drink in the summertime.
