Excellent stay
The staff was courteous and professional establishment was clean there was no issues with the rooms they communicated safety protocols for COVID-19 the insured at all the accommodations that I requested great job
Bed Bug Found on 3rd Floor
I really hate to write this as the hotel itself seemed clean and the staff was nice. However, I did find a bed bug. What's really odd is that I travel often for work and check TripAdvisor reviews for "bugs" before booking a hotel. This hotel has good reviews! I also always check my hotel rooms upon check-in for signs of bed bugs. I check under the mattress, on the ceiling, under cushions, in lampshades, behind wall art, etc. I didn't see anything suspicious. But I awoke at 3:30 AM, unable to sleep and turned on the light. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw something move next to me in bed. I looked over and saw, clear as day, a living bug. Upon further inspection and confirmation from Google and GoogleLens, I knew it was a bed bug. I killed it and left it on the bed for housekeeping to find. I threw away my clothes (ugh!) and got out of there ASAP, leaving for the airport by 4:00 AM. No one was at the front desk, so I left. I called the next day and told the staff. She apologized and said she had not heard of any previous incidents and that they'd inspect my room thoroughly. I suspect they were living under the cloth dust ruffle on the bed, which I did not check prior to finding the bug. Unfortunately, bed bugs can happen anywhere. I'm surprised they didn't refund my stay, but most hotels also deny they have bed bugs. I wanted everyone to know so they don't stay here and bring home bed bugs. I've been keeping my luggage in my trunk since and refuse to bring it into my house. So far, I don't see any in my home but this is definitely traumatizing!
Terrible Breakfast
It supposed to have complementary hot breakfast, but is terrible. Powder eggs with rock potatoes and dry ham. Thats it. Dont waste your money, if you are looking for a hotel with breakfast, look somewhere else
The warmth of home!
My daughter and I visited El Paso in order for her to have surgery. We stayed for a week at the Homewood Suites. The service and hospitality was absolutely amazing. The manager even delivered a flower arrangement to my daughter so she would have something pretty to look at while she was recovering there. It was also helpful to have the delicious meals they serve so that I didn’t have to leave my daughter. I also loved that it was right off 1-10 so, getting around town was very easy. This is an absolutely WONDERFUL place to stay! I am so thankful we booked at this hotel for our trip.
Exceptional, above-and-beyond service.
I'm in Massachusetts. My husband travels for work often. Many times, special occasions even, he is away from home. This year, 2020, he was away during his birthday. September 27th. He is a Libra <3. I called the hotel to see if someone was willing to pick him up a carrot cake from the local Nothing Bundt Cake located in the fountains. Leonila Diaz (Leo) was the one who answered the phone and she was the one who made this happen for me. She said "oh sure I'd love to make this happen for you". She didn't even ask about money. She was just willing. It was planned that the bundt cake would be ready for pick up at opening time and Leo would pick up a balloon at a separate location from the cake place. So she did a little running around Sunday morning to make this all happen. I did tell her" just a balloon". She said "no worries. I got this". She said she would take a picture when it was all in place. And that she did. Leo went above and beyond. Just like she said, she made it happen and she went way above and beyond. As I write this, I still wait for my Mikey to arrive to his room to see his surprise. I am connected by Skype right now and waiting like a little girl for him to come in the room. And Leo made this special time happen! Thank you, sweet one! That level of customer service is top notch and unmatched! I uploaded the picture Leo sent me (via text from her personal phone to mine). You can see she did not skimp on the balloons. Above and beyond! <3 Thank you, again, Leo!
