Rule of thumb, check the mattress.

Made our reservation months ago. We were tired from a 1800 mile drive to bring my mother in laws ashes to be buried with her husband. I checked in the receptionist was very nice. We were on the second floor so I went ahead to open the door and do my usual check for bed bugs. After going through several layers of mattress covers I discovered blood stains and dry fluid stains. I immediately left the room went to front and explained what I saw. Housekeeping looked at it offered us another room. I looked at the mattress and said no. We were given a full refund. People look at the mattress before you commit.
Good place but it is run by an Indian.

Good service. Good staff. Good place, but that may not always be the case because the owner is an Indian that only comes around to collect the money. She should pay these people that work for her more.
Stay away if you want to sleep

Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews like we were. This place is renovated but VERY, VERY, VERY noisy with night traffic and check ins. Desk attendant super unconcerned in maintaining a restful environment. Attendant very defensive and apathetic when asked for assistance after 11:00pm to have neighbors quiet down. People wandering area at ALL hours of the night. We Will NEVER return, even if it was the last bed available in El Paso. Please believe us.
Good option for the price

Good option for the price. We booked this as just a place to rest for the night on our trip cross country. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, they allowed our small dog, and the parking lot was well lit. Good option for the price and necessities.
Wow, the renovated motel 6’s are awesome.

The renovated motel 6 surprised me greatly. It was less than 300 for a weeks stay. The rooms have been renovated in most of the chain. The pool was small but did the job quite nicely. It was clean and not crowded at all. The parking was a little tight but wasn’t bad. The room had a good tv with Directv. The hot water didn’t run out. It was much better than I expected. The neighborhood wasn’t bad and there’s a good selection of restaurants close by and the little place right next door was very good and extremely reasonable in price. I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was pretty centrally located and easy access. The hotel is right beside I-10 and a couple of miles from the airport and from the back gate of fort bliss. Only downfall of the whole place is the bed was pretty firm, but it wasn’t terrible and it was a new mattress.
