No consideration for booked guests
Booked in January 2020 for 2 separate nights in June 2020. My husband is in the Covid-19 "shielding" group plus the borders to France are currently closed - hence we cannot travel. I therefore contacted the hotel to cancel and reorganise the booking for a later date. The reply to my first email was "it is too early to cancel" (we had gone into lockdown then) and as I had booked their 'special' rate I could not refund or rebook. I challenged that and a further reply said they would reconsider nearer the date. Now we are in the very week of my proposed bookings - and I can get no reply whatsoever. I have lost £250. The ferry company and every other hotel on my planned itinerary to and from Vienna have refunded my money in full; this hotel will not even communicate with me. This is disgraceful in the circumstances. When I do eventually rebook my trip, it will not be at the Select Hotel in Erlangen.
A hotel without any consideration for potential clients.
Booked and paid for 4 nights from 8-12 march. In view of COVID-19 and the fact that I work in the health sector I decided not to travel as there will be a higher risk of infection if I travel and I don't want to risk coming back with contamination. Asked if they could make a gesture or even rebook on a different date. No response to my e-mail. I wrote on their Facebook page where they finally replied a day later saying no and " thanked me for my comprehension". No gesture, nothing. I will never consider this hotel again. They only care about keeping my money. I am really and utterly disgusted.

Rooms is large enough for three or more luggages in large size, hv tub and shower, fair revenration, front staff friendly l, however, only one italian resturant nearby except hotel one and need walk 10mins
Very basic
Nice looking hotel but no air con we upgrade to top upgrade for air con The first room we had was lovely and spacious but upgraded room was a small attic room with a sloping ceiling and a very old plug in large fan not proper air con. The staff were not friendly at all would not go back
AVOID - UNTRAINED STAFF - TRY TO RIP YOU OFF
After driving for over 8 hours from Budapest, we checked in so we could have an early night as we had another 8 hours drive in the morning. Check in was smooth with no issues, it is a clean modern hotel. We came down in the morning for Breakfast which we PRE-PAID with our booking as i could have got the cheaper room but we opted for the more expensive one with breakfast..... as we walk to reception and ask where the breakfast room is, we gave her our room number and was told it will cost an EXTRA 30 EUR! This is scam and i have already noted it with my booking agent that staff at this hotel need to be trained and read the reservation better!
