Very fantastic hotel very kindly employees and I will return Back there and I it’s soo closed to city cemetery and to the maidan in the middle of Istanbul you can find beside hotel many marketing and coffe and food
One of the worst hotels I have ever been or I can say the worst one ,no respect at all Manager “ Isamil” is impolite and dealing in a harsh and tough way . AC wasn’t working for 3 days and our stay was 4 days .. no TV for 1 day ... Breakfast is a little quantity.. The good thing is only the location, otherwise everything is very bad . Don’t recommend it at all.
Worst service ever
Worst hotel ever ,worst experience I have ever had , the hotel manager Ismail very tough and extremely rude person , our room air condition doesn’t work 3 days with consistent promise from hotel staff that they will fix it , red liquid on the floor u may thought it’s blood , tv & refrigerated doesn’t work too, we have been late 2 hrs for check out , we have been kick out we don’t recommend To stay at this hotel ever
Very Pleasantly Surprised
I was pleasantly surprised by the Cordis Hotel. The hotel very neat & clean - the rooms, bathrooms & linens. The hotel staff were always pleasant and very helpful. The hotel location is perfect, just off Taksim Square & a short walk to Taksim Metro. There are mini markets outside the hotel & a pedestrian area close by with a variety of eateries. I experienced two rooms at the Cordis Hotel. My room with a balcony was not available when I arrived. The first room ( No 301), on the 3rd floor, was a big room that faced the street. The windows were double glazed and effectively sound proofed the room. The other room (No 402) on the 4th Floor was a tiny room, but had a balcony. The room faced away from the street but was on the ‘ sun side’ & was very hot in the afternoons. There was some floor damage in this room possible due to the fact the balcony door did not close properly & could have let rain in in winter. Both rooms had clean modern bathrooms with good showers & lots of very hot water. The rooms have fridges & kettles. There is no lift in the Cordis Hotel, so if you have problems with stairs, a room on the lower levels would be better. . These rooms are in the ‘more modern’ part of the hotel - the block on the right hand side of the reception. The breakfast at the cafe below the hotel was very meager. Overall I found the hotel very good value for money, especially for a major city in peak summer season. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe staying at the Cordis Hotel.
Great location for the budget traveller; Bütçe seyahat edenler için mükemmel konum
The hotel room was average in space, with a good size bathroom. The was a flatscreen TV in the room with some English channels. Soap, gel and shampoo was provided. There is a bar fridge in the room, kettle with tea and sugar provided. The room has lots of worn out and wear and tear issues. It needs some maintenance. There are steep stairs to the rooms, which is an issue if your luggage bag is big! Breakfast was a dish of cheese, boiled egg, bread, coffee in a restaurant next to the hotel, but part of the facilities. The restaurant is modern but has no atmosphere, and is not a buffet breakfast. The location is the main attraction. Near the Taksim taxi and metro stations and about a few minutes walk from the Havabus stop from the new airport.
