As soon as we arrived, we asked the person in the reception to see the room before booking, but he refused bacause he claimed that he is alone and cannot leave the place and assured us that the rooms are better than what we saw in the pictures, so we believed him and booked four days and after we entered the room we were shocked, it wasn't clean or comfortable room, of course we tried to cancel the reservation after a few minutes, or at least reduce the duration, but he refused! It was really a terrible experience

Derpa Suite hotel worst place to stay

This place is not acceptable. The reception had no one on arrival. After a while receptionist came to help with attitude. Place was dirty and not well light up. There were carpets in the room but so dirty you dont want to get rid of your shoes. There was a bad smell and receptionist said take it or leave. I try to get four nights prepaud money back but se just saud sorry, we don't do refunds. Cost me now double to stay in different place due to their nice wrong shown pictures on website.

I made a reservation for a family suite for 6 nights almost 4 months ahead. When we got to the Hotel, first of all, it was only one person at front desk managing everything at the same time. There was no hotel porter, and he told me it is only me, and I can't carry your luggage's. Your room is on 9th floor, elevator only goes to 8th floor. You should carry your luggage's through the stairs to 9th floor. The room he gave us was much smaller than the one I booked. It was basically the room under the roof.

That was the worst experience I ever had in a hotel! Firstly when we reached the hotel around 02:00AM we found out that the Delux room which we have booked is already taken and we have to sleep in another room, which by the way was awful! The roof was leaking and the walls were full with moisture and yellow spots. The smell was horrible and the room was obviously not well cleaned. The lobby, elevator and the stairways were dirty and poorly maintained! Unfortunately it was too late and we were tired from the travel that's why we were forced to sleep there! The lift was so old and noisy that it was hard to get a sleep at all! The next morning I tried to explain the conflict between the images in booking.com and the real condition of the hotel to the manager, but he even did't want to listen to me. His response was "Everyone is happy with our hotel". I have shown him a pictures from the room where we were accommodated and his response was "It need a little paint, not a big deal!". We asked for immediate checkout and we left the hotel - the manager said that they will not refund our 3 days accommodation which is left, because there is no cancelation included in the booking! I strongly recommend you to choose a different hotel, I found an amassing alternatives of "Derpa Suite Hotel" in the same area of Istambul!

first of thing i should say u r not alone here ! staffs like Murat and Tugay are great ! i feel miss them and i hope see them sooon . so clean room with good beds and lights.breakfast is great too . u should now u didnt pay for 5stars hotel so please understand how much u pay and what u want from this price . i hope next time when i come here , walls got repaint in rooms and shower got fixis :) . murat and tugay thank you for these days :)
