I Love Estes Park Condos
Reviewed 22 september, 2021
This place is the bee's knees. #1 - DO NOT USE BOOKING . COM. It turned out that Booking.Com messed up our reservation with Estes Park Condos and then we didn't have a room. They didn't even have record of us there. But, CAM (the maintenance man) came to our rescue. He answered the emergency line and assisted us late at night. He drove in to help us. He put us in a nice big cabin at 9 pm, even though there was no reservation. We went to the office the next morning to pay our dues (dreading that since it was a 2 floor condo, it would be more expensive). When we spoke to the front desk staff, they said we were okay to go. The room was comped. We were so grateful for this. They literally saved two women who had no place to stay because booking.com sucks. PLEASE BOOK DIRECTLY THROUGH ESTES PARK CONDOS. Give them a call instead. Booking.com also takes a percentage out of the amount and doesn't even help when the time comes. Thanks again to the staff for seriously making our vacation better. I will never use a third party booking site again. I just want to alert you all that there was NO air conditioning where we were staying. It got a little stuffy, but maybe if you open a window it will be alright. In Estes Park, it makes sense to not have AC for it's cold majority of the time.
Loved our stay at Creekside Suite 19! Beautiful condo!

We loved the Creekside Suite 19 at Estes Park Condos! It is beautiful! A little on the small side but everything we needed. The view is great of the Fall River right outside on our patio. The bathroom shower is amazing and big. It has a few little quirks like the coffee pot didnt make good coffee. I poured water over coffee in a filter into my cup for the time we were there. Nothing I did could make a good cup of coffee in that pot. LOL! I told them about it. Hopefully they will change it out. Take your own just in case. The ceiling fan didnt shut off in the master bedroom. Light didnt work in that room either. Hard to get dressed or find anything because of no overhead light. They do have two small lamps by the bed. Last thing that was difficult was, there was a tenant that was a smoker on the bottom floor right below us. He stayed on the patio, and we couldn't open our windows or door very much because the smoke came up into our room. It was really warm some days so that was hard, especially at night. We wanted to smell the fresh mountain air. The condos are close to each other so the smoking is a problem, at least for us it was. We mentioned it to the front desk but what can they do? It was nice and quiet at Estes Park Condos. The view beautiful and this condo was nice. The complaints we had we mentioned to the front desk so hopefully it will make it easier for the next person. You will love the decor!
Slowly going downhill
Reviewed 18 july, 2021
I’ve been coming here yearly for approximately 7 years. My satisfaction has slowly gone down over the last couple years and the last two years in particular I’ve become pretty dismayed and plan to look for an alternative. The maintenance of this place seems to be going downhill. Started staying at Antlers Point (AP) with a baby because we could no longer stay in adults-only locations in Estes. With the second kid we switched to Bugle Point (BP). This year BP was sold out so we ended up at Creekside Condos (CC). AP is great for couples, maybe an infant as well. Not for kids. Occupancy limits are low so it’s mostly couples. It’s the most private and secluded. BP has 1 and 2 bedroom options. CC is a lot like BP, but living room was smaller and on ground level so you don’t have a large deck. Deck was smaller and lacking dining table. Also Creekside Condos are very close to Fall River Road on the master bedroom side which is a noise problem at night, especially needing to keep windows open to keep cool. But even with window closed you might need white noise or a fan to drown out traffic. It is a good location and decently priced. I really like being up Fall River Road because it’s quieter and it’s still close to town and close to the park. You can get there taking a bypass around downtown traffic. Love being close to the river and hearing the sound of it from my room. Just know as with many places in Estes there is no AC. We usually come in July and it’s not uncommon to see upper 80s and even occasionally touching 90, and on a day like that it’s just too hard to cool your place down and sleep comfortably. If you can’t sleep comfortably, you’re not enjoying your vacation. Especially if you like to sleep in cold temperatures (we usually sleep at 68). If you’re on a ground floor unit it’s tough to get airflow going with windows open. Additionally, they’ve been having more serious bear problems the last few years which means you really can’t leave your windows open at night. Three years ago I had a bear issue here. It punched in a window screen and I scared the bear away as it was walking up to the patio screen door. With a two bedroom unit you can have your upstairs windows open and maybe just crack downstairs ones so that a bear couldn’t try to get in and that will allow hot air to go out the top and cooler come in the bottom. This is the 2nd year in a row I’ve had trouble getting a hot shower. Last year it affected the entire unit, short amount of hot water followed by lukewarm - indicative of 1 of the 2 heating elements dying. This year I got hot water everywhere except the main shower/tub where it’s only lukewarm. I find it highly unlikely in both situations that I was the first person to experience these issues. Last year smoke detectors started beeping from low battery and the solution was to remove it from the wall entirely!? A new bathroom vanity was put in without removing old tile backsplash, they used a faucet intended for a kitchen sink, and they hooked up hot and cold backwards. Did they hire a 16 year old kid to do that? There’s no TP holder, just a roll on the counter. The sink drains so slowly that washing hands fills it up halfway and it takes 5 minutes to go down. The toilet runs constantly and have to jiggle handle after every flush. The over the range microwave was gone, replaced by counter model, but now there's no exhaust fan capability over the stove - just a gaping hole. They don’t seem to be serious about fixing things right here anymore. The hot tub on our last night started to turn for the worse with the bottom appearing hazy and an odd smell, so the chemicals clearly weren’t checked and maintained properly during our 4-night stay. In 2021, it’s kind of lame they still aren't doing daily tidy-up service. It was understandable last year, but this year it’s not. If you leave early for park and come back after 3PM you can’t get rid of your trash because dumpsters are locked. A few big things and accumulation of small things will make me look elsewhere.
Don’t let the bedbugs bite!

We stayed in bugle point 36. Things went well with maintenance promptly answering calls. The problem came when my husband and I woke up covered in bites. Bed bugs? Check your condo and mattresses before you rest your head and unpack. Overpriced for sure!
Friendly, helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay in Condo E. The staff was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants, etc. They were also prompt if we needed anything. Plenty of parking. Would have loved to have a washer and dryer on the property but overall a nice, clean place!
